Managing in-house projects and lead the project engineering management team consisting of multi discipline engineers, designers and draftsmen to develop in house basic and detail engineering of projects. Supervise various projects carried out by design engineering contractors and consultants. Got approvals for TOLLGATES for IDENTIFY&ASSESS, DEFINE and EXECUTE Stages for different projects. Following are some of the major projects accomplished:
• Manage Conceptual Design, FEED and detail engineering of MEHAR gas processing facility (30MMSCFD/train) Project.
• Concept selection and detail engineering of 16” Diameter, 50K m long, Latif flow line to SAWAN Facility and Latif-1, Latif-north, Latif-6, Latif-9, Latif-10, Latif-14 wellheads development project,
• Concept Design and detail engineering of SAWAN 5, 6, 10, 11, 13and 14 wellheads development project, Flow line from this wellhead to Central processing plant.
• SAWAN Plant De-bottlenecking Project concept selection, FEED and detail engineering review and design management.
• Basic concept study and detail engineering of Miano-8, 9 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18 and Miano-19 wellheads development project, Flow line from this wellhead to Central processing plant.
• Concept selection, FEED and detail engineering of Compression project for SAWAN facility.
• FEED of emission reduction project of Kadanwari facility.
• Detail engineering of all SAWAN wellheads modification project for Swan debottlenecking.
• In house plant modifications for plant facilities to improve the plant efficiency and operation through Engineering Change request (ECR).
• Involve in Concept and FEED carried out by ILF and carried out detail engineering by ABB Italy for SAWAN Compression Project for 400 MMSCFD.
• Design and detail engineering of SAWAN 11, 13 and 14 wellheads development project, Flow line from this wellhead to Central processing plant
• Developed OMV standard procedures for basic and detail engineering, engineering man- hour’s estimation, document flow protocols, document control system etc.
• Participated in TCM/OCM meetings and conceptual workshops with different Joint Venture partners.
• Manage design quality review and Audits of design consultants and in house projects.
• Provide engineering support to project team during execution of project
• Coordinate design quality assurance reviews during execution of project.

Design Engineer (Pressure Vessels’ storage tanks, plant Piping) Oct 2000 to June 2004
Worked with in-house as well as with project engineering management team to supervise various projects carried out by contractors. Following are some of the major projects carried out:
Basic and detail Design of re-routing of jump over of 40”cross country line at 98 km (Uthmaniyah)
Detail Design oil water separators for Hawiyah Gosp#3.
Line sizing & routing of 20” line for back up drum in NGL plant.
Feasibility report for the induction of economizer for the stripper of de-ethanizer plant; calculate the required line size and the size of required economizer.
Design and detail drawings submitted by contractor for the sprinkler type fire protection system for the old ITC.
Redesign the scraper trapper for the launcher of Gosp# 12 Plant.
Design piping for auxiliary lube oil system for the turbines and pumps of steam power plant.
Design the piping of water spraying system by using sprinklers for the spheroids cathodic system.
Management of the piping works design for the hydraulic power unit to operate the control valve at PRS#1 Yanbu.
Preparation of the piping plan & isometrics for Nitrogen generation system by using the membrane type nitrogen generators required for the shedgam gas plant.
Preparation of Safety instruction sheets for the mechanical equipment and in plant piping for Abqaiq plant.
Modification in piping for acid dilutation system for the RO / Demin water plant in Abqaiq.
Modifications of sand feed hopper and sand splitters for the uniform flow of sand and equal distribution.
Designing of the fire control system of the plant control rooms by using FM-200.
Design Engineer (Mechanical Static equipment & Piping) Sep 99 to Sep 2000
Following are some of the major projects completed:
• Manage basic and detail engineering of the mechanical equipment like contactor tower, strippers, fuel gas scrubber, flash drum, and glycol reboilers of dehydration plants as per ASME Sec.VIII Div 1& 2 by using ADVANCED PRESSURE VESSEL and PRESSURE VESSEL ELITE, CAESAR II software.
• Liberty power H2S removal plant & dehydration plant piping plan.
• Designed Fire water storage tank, oil storage tanks, Amine storage, and amine sump as per API 650 Standard.
• Prepare the design calculations and detail engineering of three phase separators for oil and gas development corp.
• Prepared BOMS for towers, separators, scrubbers, LPG bowsers, LPG bullets and reboilers of oil and gas plants.
• Detailed checking of P&IDS for three phase separators, flare k/o drums.
• Engaged in checking piping plan, isometrics, pipe supports etc. for the oil and gas plant.
• Engaged in preparing the mechanical design heat exchangers as per TEMA STANDARD.
Design Engineer (Mechanical Static Equipment &Piping) March, 1997 to Sep 1999
• Sitara Energy Waste Heat Recovery Boilers Plant: Detail engineering of waste heat recovery boilers designed by MS ALBORGE Sweden. Design pipeline for the steam at 14 Bar to transfer steam from power plat to Sitara chemical plant.
• Prepared layouts of boiler houses, waste water treatment plant, ET Plants under British consultant (DONTARE LTD. UK FOR WWTP AND BEEL INTERNATIONAL UK FOR BOILERS).
• Designed different types of high pressure simple and jacketed vessels, their saddles, skirts, connections, man ways, internals etc.
• Carried out detail engineering of pressure vessels, storage tanks, hot water generators, LPG bullets, LPG bowsers, slow speed scrapers, high speed dispersers.
• Engaged in cost estimation of pressure vessels, storage tanks, interconnecting piping, bulk storage bullets, bowsers, milk road tankers, agitated vessels, smoke tube boilers, hot water generators.
• Performed the duties as workshop engineer relating the fabrication and maintenance jobs.
• Maintenance in-charge of wet glucose section, wet mill section, dry starch section and oil expeller section.
• Worked with vibration control unit which mostly controlled the vibration of very Heavy induced draft fans, forced draft fans, Pump Impellers, rotor stators of Entoleters, vibration controlling of W.S centrifuge machine. Responsible for proper alignment of couplings & shafts, maintenance of machines.
• Carried out maintenance of gear boxes, maintenance of worm conveyers, maintenance of pumps, various valves. Responsible for preventive maintenance to avoid major accidents.
