As a Resident Engineer Telecom&SCADA supervision of the Load Despatch system up gradation Project at 500kV Grid Station Jamshoro, 500kv Grid Station Dadu, 500KV Grid station NKI, KARACHI successfully carried out regarding the SCADA and Telecom systems (ALSTOM), Power line carrier (ALSTOM), SDH, PDH and OPGW.
• Installation, commissioning and fault rectification of Telecommunication PLC (Power Line Carrier) equipments like, ZAP-01, ZAP-51, ETI-21, 22, 101, ETL-81, 540 & SPT-5
• Maintain Microwave Media for communication of Load Despatch system between grid stations.
• Installation, commissioning and fault rectification of Tele-protection equipments like NSD-50, 60 & 550
• Installation, commissioning, reprogramming & fault rectification of SWITCH equipments like, DCX-600, DCX-5, SOPHO iS-3030 & ECS-FX
• Installation, commissioning, and fault rectification of SCADA RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) like, Collector-400 for the Analog & Digital measurands / signals and control signals
• Installation, commissioning and fault tracing and rectification of Battery Charger & Rectifiers (3-phase, 1-phase) of different Models
• The main responsibility as Telecom Engineer is to improve the efficiency of a running Telecommunication System and Trouble Shooting, to suggest modification in operating procedures, to hand over the equipment for operation in a safe condition and coordinate between various Power Grid Stations to Communicate each other for smooth Load Dispatch System.
• Handle responsibilities of regular maintenance of Optical Fiber, Power Line Carrier(PLC) system, R.T.Us, Teleprotection, Exchanges like testing and software upgrades
• Serve as a system administrator for SAS, SCADA, RTU and Optical Fiber, Power Line carrier (PLC), Teleprotection.
• Handle the tasks of evaluating, installing and supporting Upgrading system
• Responsible for developing and maintaining documentation and resources pertaining to SAS, Optical Fiber, Teleprotection,
• The supervision of the Huawei Optical Fiber Cable Laying Project between exchanges and for ONUs was successfully carried out for Optical Ring Network in Karachi Pakistan (2005).
• As Assistant Divisional Engineer (Optical Fiber) have responsibility for the operation and maintenance of optical fiber Cable.
• Handle the tasks of testing, evaluating and selecting Optical Fiber tools and technologies.
• Provide proactive support the daily operation of Optical Fiber Cable network of the organization
• Responsible for gathering and compiling data for existing Optical Fiber Network as well as prepare weekly status reports.
• Perform other related tasks under the instructions of the Manager/Senior Optical Fiber Network Engineer
