• Managing & coordinating all matters related to the Logistics Dept such as material movement, warehousing, transportation, and delivery schedules of Air, Sea & Road Shipments for all ongoing projects.
• Managing all information related to the Logistics Management of the Contractors through reporting systems.
• Acting as a liaison with assigned Transport Contractor's to deliver the materials to all sites according to the project schedule & requirements.
• Managing & coordinating all Customs Clearance activities, selection of broker firms (including distance custom clearance) of materials considering availability, previous performances & total cost per shipment.
• Managing & providing transportation guidelines based on preferred Transport companies and providing support to Samsung project sites in providing heavy lifting equipments.
• Managing & organizing all the Air / Sea & Road freight custom clearance docs for Import & Export.
• Managing & Expediting the required docs from “The Communications and Information Technology
Commission” (CITC or the Commission) for the clearance of wire line or wireless ICT equipments.
• Organizing the Required Permits from Ministries for the clearance of chemical & dangerous goods shipments.
• Organizing the Required Duty Exemption docs for the clearance of Duty Exempted Shpts.
• Creating, writing and coordinating professional & accurate weekly and monthly Logistic reports on the progress of material deliveries, site and equipment status.
• Coordinating with all assigned forwarders / courier companies on all logistics aspects (goods pick up, shipping, clearance).
• Managing & coordinating with site warehouse managers on warehouse activities (loading-off loading, deliveries to site).
