• Involved in the process right from preparation to signing and operationalization of international agreements concerning Road Transportation (including both passengers and goods transport) between Pakistan and neighboring countries.
• Undertaking Feasibility Studies and Economic / Financial Appraisal of Transport Projects and Preparation of Medium and Long-Term Investment Plans in transport sector particularly for Asian Highway Network in Pakistan
• Providing input to ECO Multimodal Transport System.
• Examination of policy matters relating to:
o Road Transport and Motor Vehicles,
o Accession to TIR, Regional Connectivity Program such as Central & South Asia Transport & Trade Forum (CSATTF),
