Responsibilities:
A steward and servant leader of Quality with overall responsibility in ensuring that WG Mustang KSA Office is fulfilling the goals of customer satisfaction and quality performance.
Development, implementation and Maintenance of WG Mustang Quality System and Policy, meeting the ISO 9001 Certification obligation and Client’s satisfaction.
Ensure that all Company Quality Management System policies and procedures are known, understood and adhered to by all WG Mustang KSA staff. Lead Quality Management communication and motivational campaign through Quality Tips, Quality Web portal, QMS Quizzes, Quality Awards
Develop the Project Quality Plans and ensure that Client specific QA requirements are addressed.
Inspection methods are in line with the Quality Management System and are well understood by the concerned team.
Monitor overall productivity and efficiency of Projects/Departments on implementation of the Company Quality Management System, forecast trends and anticipate potential problems and difficulties in meeting requirements, milestones or budgets, coordinate with Management and all supervised staff to resolve problems.
Development and implementation of Audit program based on the status and importance of projects / departments/subcontractors to be audited, as well as the result of previous audits ensuring that all elements of ISO 9001 are addressed during internal audits at least once every year. Be a part of the Auditors team and participating as a Lead auditor to reinforce the process.
Provide training, guidance and conduct awareness trainings for all Departmental staff and ensure their effectiveness during internal audits.
To support the SVP\General Manager in developing and implementing a continual improvement plan linked to business objectives.
Major Achievements:
• Development of new QMS for KSA Office based on regional, legacy and ISO 9001 requirements. Its training, implementation and ISO 9001-2008 Certification in 2012.
• Development of cross functional team of certified internal auditors and implementation of robust Internal Auditing process.
• Gap Analysis, realignment of QMS as per the requirement NEW ISO 9001-2015 Standard
• Training of Top Management and employees on the new ISO 9001-2015 Standard.
• Successful Transition to ISO 9001-2015 in August 2017.
• Implementation of Design KPI measurement system.
• Introduction of Annual QMS Quiz Competition to promote Quality Culture and enhancement of QMS Knowledge with a bit of competition.
Worked as QHSE Manager of Descon Manufacturing Business Area which has the capability to fabricate equipment, including Pressure Vessels, Towers, Coulmns, Heat Exchangers, Boilers, etc. according to international standards.
Responsibilities included implementation of QHSE Policy, making HSE procedures and their implementation. The execution of the QC Plan, procedures, ensuring manufacturing methods are in line with QC Plans and are well understood by concerned functions. Responsible for employees and contractor staff training on QHSE procedures, performing internal audits and issuing NCR’s and tracking to closure and for re-certification of ISO-9001, 14001 and 18001.
Responsibilities included implementation of Quality System as required, ensured work quality at site from material receiving to work completion and final testing, ensure all NCR’s, SR’s and ‘STOP WORK ORDERS’ are raised and properly closed out, preparation of inspection / testing plans, preparation of Testing Procedures for different systems, review and approval of Engineering Drawings and Specification, review and approval of Material and Material Submittals, preparation of Welding Procedures Specification /PQR. Qualification of welders as per Standard Codes and Specification, ensure the Quality of Welding, designating the required NDT methods, material, techniques and procedures to be used as per Standard Codes and Specifications, ensure correct functional reporting system was in place at each third party inspection. As a Project Engineer dealt with following Project: 140 MW C.C. HCPC Power Plant, Quetta, Pakistan
Responsibilities included Supervision of Mechanical Work at site from equipment storage to their erection till commissioning, involving approx. 425 Tons of piping and 680 Tons of steel structures.
Inspection at all stages of erection and testing, post erection checks of systems and equipment, welding inspection (NDT), pressure testing, commissioning, etc.

Responsibilities included QA / QC work, which also included preparation of QA/QC procedures and documentation, post-erection checks of systems for completion and generating punch lists accordingly, Material and Equipment Inspection, Welding inspection of Piping and Structure as per Standard Codes and Co-ordination with client and their Consultant, NESPAK.
As a QA/QC Engineer dealt with following Project: 210 MW Unit #6, KESC Bin Qasim TPS, Karachi.
Responsibilities included Supervision at all stages of Fabrication / Welding and Erection (as per ASME Code) of:
Low and High Pressure Piping and Steel Structure. Supervision of installation of equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, etc. and Welder Qualification Tests.
As a QA/QC Engineer dealt with following Project: 4x323 MW HUBCO Power Plant, Hub
Responsibilities included Inspection, documentation and coordination with clients (IHI, ANSALDO) for the Fabrication / Welding, Erection and N.D.T., installation and alignment check of pumps and Aux. Machines, inspection of Fuel Oil Storage Tank as per API-650, Welders Qualification Tests as per ASME Section IX, level and alignment checks of foundations and pipelines, surface preparation, painting and insulation inspection.
