Creating functionality for the student mobile app that will enrich the student experience.

I was working in The Department of Computing Information Service as a first line IT Support Staff to provide Software and Hardware support to students and academic staff within the Faculty Labs and studios

Duties also include technical support over key learning areas covering Computing Information Service and other Departments in other Faculty of Architecture Computing Humanities. Ensuring that all equipment is working and ready to be used for student classes and tutorials, participate in the everyday running of the labs to ensure the smooth operation of Faculty labs, selling of consumables, dealing with student queries and general support of software. Data entry/checking of equipment on the Inventory database. Scanning of equipment (i.e. laptops) to students at the lab counter. Checking equipment that is loaned out to students and academic staff. Helping to maintain the smooth running of the labs.

I was also playing an important role as a member of the team in improving the customer care and service provided to the students and staff. I respond to users in a calm and understanding manner, be a team player, sharing and giving knowledge to improve the customer care and IT service provided to the students and staff are essential attributes for this demanding position.
