Assist the top management concerning all quality matters;
Detailed and expert understanding of Preparing and implementing ITP (Inspection & Test Plans) and QA/QC procedures;
Ability to Review Technical Submittals for materials approval to client considering project costing and scheduling theories and philosophy;
Liaise with client’s inspection group and construction staff for intermediate and final acceptance of works;
Copy out inspection of mechanical and welding works and nominated subcontractor / suppliers as directed by approved ITP and Supervises QC activities being done by the subcontractors;
Coordinate all shutdown activities including preparation of shutdown Quality control plans, ITP’s, QC activities by subcontractors;
Verify that the welding procedures are as specified & qualified and work is performed in accordance with the applicable procedures and Advise field staff of poor quality work and deficiencies detected during inspections and assist / advise on remedial works required;
Ensure that the work inspected is identified with the specified marking methods or with appropriate records, welding inspection include non-destructive prior to hydro test and field staff to ensure that all required testing has been performed;
Control performance and testing of welders, hydrostatic or pneumatic examination and mechanical completion with appropriate records;
Controls and coordinates with Inspectors for all construction on-site and off-site inspection activities (Structure steel fabrication and erection, Preparation of Complete welds record, sand blasting, painting, insulation and Heavy duty equipment installation inspections);
Follow up for the corrective action on surveillance & non-conformance reports;
Attending the inspection and audits by owners and inspection agencies;
Ensure a comprehensive filing system is maintained and compile all quality documentation up until mechanical completion;
Review and submit the as built drawings, packages and final Quality Documentation;
Review final submittal of final dossier as per system/sub-system wise to client;
Verification and inspection of prestart-up, startup and commissioning activities as per client requirement;
A high degree of computer literacy, including many specialized managerial and technical programs such as MS Project;
Mature, self-motivated and able to function independently with minimal guidance in administrative matters, having the ability to function on multi-discipline or multi-functional teams, and the ability to establish work priorities and work independently;
Good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and organization skills with team orientation;
Leadership and to demonstrate by example concerns for Safety and Process Safety for subordinates;
Superior ability with the English Language both written and spoken, the ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and external parties;
