Main activities and responsibilities can be defined as implementation of the project 'KEEP STEP: Education of Roma children and youth for the sustainable development of the community' ((http://odrzi-korak.com/?lang=en), financed by the Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Programme. The project was designed to enable Roma pupils to have a better start in early stages of education, help their teachers work more effectively and motivate Roma parents to encourage their children to learn. About 300 pupils and 30 teachers were benefited by the project activities. The total budget of the project was HRK 491, 470.66.
My main job is to develop, prepare and manage EU and national projects for Roma minority community in Koprivnica-križevci county. So, basically I do Project Manager's job.
Correscondence with local and regional governments, National Office for Human Rights, other non-profit organizations, educational institutions, EU Fund institutions, International fund providers etc. and helping Roma population in Koprivnica-križevci county in exsercing their rights.
Procurement of meat industry packaging materials, maintaining stock, communication with suppliers, organising transportation.
I was entitled to order goods within a budget of about 42, 000.00 $ a month. I communicated with and ordered goods from companies with production facilities in Italy, UK, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Romania and India. Bomark d.o.o. regularly raw materials from SABIC, Saudi Arabia.
My courses included International Financial Reporting Standards, Financial Markets and Institutions, Financial Reports Analysis, Services Marketing, International Marketing, Marketing Strategy Simulation, Strategy (Management), Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, Change Management and Human Resources, Project Management, International Financial Management and EU Fund Management. My final grade was Excellent (GPA: 4.78). It is worth mentioning that Zagreb School of Economics and Management is an AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited educational institution.
