Shahmeer Ahmed Khan

Joined as an Assistant Software Architect and got promoted to Associate and then Software Architect. Worked on diversified projects/modules of ERP including but not limited to Procurement System, Finance System, Payment System, Education Management System, Website Visitors Tracking System, Automated Software Development System, Automated Website Uploading and Deployment System, News and Resources Management System, Website Scraping, Website HTML validation, Search Engine Optimization. Currently working on the ERP Suite products.
Being assigned the role of lead architect, I report directly to the Managers of Software Department, planning, distributing, coordinating, and executing software development tasks with the software engineers and developers.
I was also assigned the additional role of Business Analyst, analyzing and documenting the working processes of different modules of the ERP.
I was also actively involved in internal departmental trainings and assigned the responsibilities of the departmental coach. As the departmental coach I was in charge of activating new joining and getting them adjusted and trained to the fast paced development environment of the company and the software department.
I was also involved in recruitment activities; conducting tests, assessing and interviewing candidates.

As a Senior Software Engineer, my responsibilities included planning, designing and developing different Dot Net based projects. The major project was the financial and newspaper website www.thefinancialdaily.com . This website has incorporated efficient data display using Server Side Caching technique to support a large viewership base. The website also hosts a virtual stock trading game mocktrading.thefinancialdaily.com which displays real time stock tickers from the Karachi Stock Exchange.
