Currently working as Finance Manager of the group. The group comprises of a number of commercial entities dealing with various consumer goods e.g. Canon cameras, Samsonite luggage, Nokia mobiles, Huawei mobiles, Citizen watches, Samsung watches, and other food items of various brands like Henkel, Hero, United Biscuits and EFES.
My key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing product pricing in coordination with respective Business Unit managers to maintain optimum gross margins at SKU level.
- Ensuring strict cost controls and managing profitability of the business at brand level.
- Management of the P&L and Balance Sheet of the business units to maintain sustainable growth.
- Monthly forecasting & reporting of business results as per management requirements and to ensure compliance with the Financial Reporting Standards.
- Presentation of the business performance to the CEO each month alongwith detailed analysis of the P&L.
- Managing monthly closing activities and co-ordination with all the business units for the purpose of consolidation and reporting.
- Credit control and close co-ordination with the sales team.
- Inventory control with regular review of aging and classes to ensure minimum business losses.
- Responsible for analysis and consolidation of all the businesses at the Group level
- Overseeing the treasury function including bank reconciliations and bank accounts management of the Group.
- Providing support to IT consultants in implementation of Oracle R12.
- Coordination with Internal Audit and Risk Management teams.

Management Accountant - Customer Development Finance at UNILEVER PAKISTAN
