As Senior Manager / Financial Controller. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor.
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
• Reconciling bank accounts; and manage cash flow.
• Reviewing monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget.
• Managing the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
• Managing the bookkeeping function, using the Simply Accounting Package, including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure.
• Participating all management meetings as a member of the Finance Team.
• Assisting the Managing Director & CEO and the Board with financial reporting as required at Board meetings and the Annual General Meetings and providing advice to support the decision making process.

Key Achievements:
• Achieved the milestone of getting SAMA license. Nayifat is the first Finance company who has been issued SAMA license. It is a milestone that has been achieved by Nayifat. Finance team lead by me from the front and did all the required work from a scratch to getting the license.
• Prepared the 6 years Business plan ( 2013 - 2018), which was the base for raising SUKUK for 500 million.
• Raising the funds through SUKUK 500 mil, Nayifat is a fast growing company and needs additional funds to increase its business.
• The increasing need is being fulfilled through additional bank loans and by raising the SUKUK 500 mil. Nayifat is one of the few companies who have attempted to raise the funds through SUKUK.
• Creation of SPV in the Cayman Island.
• Dealing with JLM’s for SUKUK (Deutsche Bank, Saudi Hollandi Bank)
• Implementation of the state of the art ERP system, FinnOne.
