The scope of project consists, design manufacturing, supply and commissioning of ICSS, (distributed control system, emergency shutdown system (ESD) and fire and gas detection system, integration of more than 10 third part packages).

I was on training and deputation in ABB (ATBPA) Baden, Switzerland for Cement process automation. There I worked on Fauji Cement project. During this period I got training for the ABB 800xA Process Portal System.

OGDCL (Qadirpur Gas Field) SCADA Installation and Commissioning (2006)
As lead engineer it was my major responsibility to commission the nine wells SCADA at Qadirpur Gas Field. It includes, Wellhead Instrumentation, which consist on Flow control valves, up and down stream temperature, pressure and flow. Fire and Gas Instruments, 133 litter/day Chemical Injection package, RTU, radio communication from wellhead to central control room, still IP cameras, and voice over IP intercom.
National Refinery Limited, Karachi (2005)
I was responsible for engineering and commissioning of the 70TPH boiler DCS and its Oil and Gas burner management system. The DCS was based on ABB Freelance 2000 and BMS was implemented on ABB AC31 Safety PLC.
Ittehad Chemicals Limited, Kalashah Kakoo (2005)
I was responsible for engineering and commissioning of HCl Furnaces on DCS (AC800F Controller and Freelance 2000) and tuned the system according to the new load.
Rehmat Nazir Rayon, Sheikhopura Road (2006)
I was responsible for engineering all major loops and interlocks of the DCS based on AC800F Controller and ABB Freelance 2000.
OGDCL (UCH Power Gas Delivery Station) Dera Murad Jamali (2006)
I was responsible for engineering and commissioning of Interface logic between ABB Gas chromatograph (Vista Net 2), Motorola Moscad RTU and OMNI flow computers.
Al-Moize Sugar Mill, D.I. Khan (2006)
I did engineering and testing of 2x80TPH twin begas feed boilers, the DCS is based on AC800F Controller and Freelance 2000.
PSO (Kemari Oil Terminal-A, ) Karachi (2005)
I was responsible for engineering and commissioning of the Terminal Management and Automation Control system. Which was based on Process Portal A with TMAC extended libraries, MSSQL Server, HID card readers, Sthal ET125 user interface terminals, and Smith Flow computers. It also includes data interface with Tank Farm Management System SAAB and ERP SAP 4.6c.
RING IT (A HMI for Spinning Ring Frame Units) (2001)
I developed the Ring IT solution. It is a human machine interface (HMI) for textile spinning units. The main purpose of this system is to facilitate spinning frame operator to handle its machines in centralized environment and record-spinning process related data in order to improve thread quality and reduce breakage. This is being sold to textile mills as an ABB standard Ring Frame Monitoring and Control System since 2002.

A application developed to improve the trending of DCS.
Century Paper Mills, Multan Road (2003)
An application developed to enhance the MIS facility of DCS based on ABB AC70 Controller. I also provided services for the maintenance and troubleshooting on DCS.

As an IT Manager, I developed various solutions in the existing information system, I designed some financial reports on available information, designed TSQL procedures to manipulate and process raw data. I also developed some small independent solutions like HR and some others technical calculation based small programs. For all these solutions I used Visual Basic, SQL Server and Crystal Reports 8, Win Excel and charts.
As a senior programmer I worked on a shopping mall web-site project for American clients. It was designed to provide Business-to-Business and Business-to-Client services. This web-based application was designed by using the ASP, JavaScript, DHTML and MS SQL Server 6.5. The Entity Relationship Modal of the database was consisting on more than 30 entities. At the server side component object model was implemented with ActiveX DLLs written in Visual Basic Enterprise 6.0. All these DLLs were called from ASP pages. The client side functionality and dynamic effects were provided by using the JavaScript and DHTML.
I also worked on a data conversion utility application (Bridge Application), which was designed for American clients. This application was entirely designed in Visual C++ Version 6.0. The major role of application was to convert General ledger Interface (GLI) file format into Comma Separated Values (CSV) file format. In this application a separate thread was used to monitor the conversion process.
Fantasy Enterprises is importer of KONICA Photo goods and has more than 10 photo labs and a departmental store in Lahore. To handle the business effectively I developed in house applications. The most important is accounting system, which handles the Enterprise accounts. My developed accounting system is capable of handling a complete accounting cycle from a single transaction to Profit & Loss Report of all the subsidiaries and the Enterprise. Inventory is another aspect, which I controlled there with the help of computer. The system, which I developed to handle the inventory, is interlinked with accounting system. Each photo lab and departmental store has its own inventory system, which is updated through sales and purchase application. At the end of the day all data is uploaded to main system and there the final processing takes place. The main accounting system is designed on ORACLE 7 and front-end application is designed in Developer 2000. The inventory, sales and purchase systems deployed on shop floors are designed with Access 97 and Visual Basic for Application (VBA).
PEPAC is a semi government organization. It handles the projects, which mainly concern with civil engineering, architecture or related with environmental problems. During my stay in PEPAC I developed a small payroll application, which was capable of handling daily workers on daily wages and regular employees on monthly salary. The main task of the application was to generate monthly salary sheet and daily wages sheet. On EXCEL I developed automated project costing spreadsheet and OLE linked WORLD project reports for their project documentation.
