Working in Project Management Group in order to lead planning major and execution wherever needed for Construction projects, Annual Turnarounds and Emergency Shutdowns for multiple Oil & Gas and petrochemical industries of ARAMCO and SABIC with in the kingdom. Key Responsibilities includes;
o Handing over project package from Marketing Department. o Developing project charter, project team, communication protocol and required organization chart to meet the project requirement
o Development, validation and progressing of schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6 for Construction Projects, Maintenance, Shutdowns and Plant Turnarounds.
o Establishing schedules, plans, estimates and resource profiles according to priority and portfolio considerations to meet business needs.
o Identifying Projects Deliverables and Defining WBS and Milestones Interpreting clients' requirements,
o Preparing Materials Procurement schedules from CMS (Construction Master Schedule)
o Planning Man Power and Equipment Resources and preparing Man Power and Equipment Histograms in line with Projects Requirements.
o Applying trending systems to document and manage changes to project scope, schedule, budgets, and forecasts
o Responsible for Quantifying and recording Costs, applying cost reporting and cost control processes on company formats using MS Excel.
o Resource and schedule planning for a portfolio of projects
o Providing cost and schedule analysis (conflicts, gaps, constraints) for a portfolio of projects and initiate recovery planning.
o Analyzing project data and working with individual contributors, project teams, department leadership, and Decision Boards to understand schedule and resource constraints, and leading in making scheduling and resourcing decisions.
o Extracting, tracking, reporting, and applying KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) relating to project performance to improve results.o Preparing Resource Loaded Level IV Schedules in Primavera P6. Identifying Critical Path of the Project, floats, and preparing progress S Curves, look ahead plans.
o Monitoring Project Progress and Preparing Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports, updating S Curves and forwarding to Client and Management. o Responsible for Quantifying and recording Costs, applying cost reporting and cost control processes on company formats using MS Excel.
o Calculating Earned Values (SPI, CPI), Comparing Project Progress against Baseline, Identifying delayed activities, forwarding recommendations to catch up the progress and preparing recovery plans.
o Responsible for Scope Verification and obtaining variation approval from client, Estimating the costs of additional jobs, change orders and getting approval from client
o Preparing Organization Charts and Communication Plans of the projects. o Acting as a single point of contact and responsible for holding meetings with the client and subcontractors to discuss issues and streamlining actions to resolve issues. Preparing and floating Minutes of the meetings to all stake holders and keeping records of all MOMs.
o Follow-up and guidance to execution for achieving required targets and understanding critical paths in projects.
Working as a Sub‐Contractor for Saudi Electricity Co in maintenance of plants and new Installation projects of all Power Plants in the kingdom and assistance for supply chain division for industrial spare parts via online bidding:
o Responsible to combine technical knowledge with sales skills in the projects for procurement of spare parts. The balance depends on the level of technical knowledge and understandings which will need to be used in Power Plants and all projects for maintenance and new installation within plants.
o Preparing business cases, maintenance proposal, budget preparation and feasibility reports to carry out project till closing.
o Approved proposal includes further works i.e. initiating, planning, execution, quality control, procurement’s, till closing of all related maintenance processes in the concern projects.
o Searching for new manufacturer who could benefit from their products in Power Plants, traveling to visit Saudi Electricity Plants in all regions for value engineering surveys.
o Designing & Develop project specifications & proposals of MEP, HVAC, Structure and relevant Projects, Execution.
o Estimation and costing assistance for all repair & maintenance projects in Plants with new ideas for performance improvements.
o Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with Plants maintenance divisions, managing and interpreting customer requirements for engineering understanding for many supplier and manufacturers in the western world.
o Negotiating and closing cost and estimates by agreeing terms and conditions, offering after‐sales support services.
o Persuading supply chain and other related departments of Saudi Electricity co that a product or service will best satisfy their needs, calculating required quotations, negotiating tender and contract terms with Saudi Electricity and Supplier/ Manufacturers.
o Administering Client I.e. Saudi Electricity Co accounts, analyzing costs and sales for spare parts of maintenance, preparing reports to high authority. Over viewing regular project targets, recording and maintaining clients contact data, Co‐coordinating for upcoming projects.
o Online Saudi Electricity portal, response submission to all daily new bids of supply chain department under vendor ID and respond to any technical queries of past and new Maintenance projects.
o Monitoring regularly performance index and new Purchase orders status.
o Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
o Providing per‐sales technical assistance and product education, liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
o Solving client problems, helping in the design of custom‐made machines, providing training and producing support material for the sales team.
o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional mpublications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
o Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; minitiating corrective actions.
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Worked in Production Engineering department for installation of new facilities in the plant for smooth production and help hand to maintenance department. New facilities includes new production line setup, value engineering of existing facilities and upgrading of resources. Responsibilities includes budget preparation of engineering maintenance
projects of fiscal year, tendering and bidding of maintenance projects, executions and commissioning, Further responsibilities includes:
o To ensure that all cars models assembly lines and departments are manufacturing with utmost efficiency and quality, according to planned protocols using the appropriate technology.
o Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
o Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
o Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
o Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
o Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
o Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
o Designing & Develop project specifications & proposals of MEP, HVAC, Structure and relevant Projects, Execution.
o Planning, Budget Estimation, Management approval document, BOQ’s, Tenders, Contactors meetings and building project timelines, technical services on SITE, Complete billing process in a complete maintenance project till end user satisfaction.
o Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
o Cost planning and commercial management during the entire life cycle of maintenance project from Inception to completion, Value engineering, Procurement advice and assistance during the tendering procedures, Commercial Management and Contract Administration, Assistance in dispute resolution, Asset Capitalization Interim payment assessment, Cost Management process, Claim th extra cost of the design variation.
o Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
o Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
o Responsible to impart awareness & implementation of HSE Policies, QMS /OHSAS / EMS, & 5S to project relatives.
o Develop technical and shop drawings, layouts and approved As‐Built Drawings using Engineering CAD software.
o Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability of maintenance plans.
o Review project’s scope of work, drawings & verify contract quantities with respect to actual work to be done.
o Develop Risk Assessment Matrix of project before execution; prepare daily safety check sheet of ongoing projects and evaluation of contractor performance after project completion Stewardship &
o Time management across multiple overlapping projects, providing technical support to the project team, contractors and wider regional teams. Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
o Responsible for monitoring and assisting the production line for any engineering modification which can smooth production and responsible for technical modifications, Procurement of tools, Equipment’s & Spares for machineries in plant, plans and check sheets for maintenance of equipment’s when required.
o Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
Worked as a trainee engineer in facility management Department to process all kind of maintenance projects with in the plant from initiating till closing of projects. Main responsibilities related to HVAC load calculation, duct designing, piping works and maintain HVAC standard production areas for confectionery chilling machines, responsibilities
include:
o HVA/C Load calculations, MEP Designing, Structure design, Duct designing and engineering modifications.
o Design, Execution and supervision of maintenance projects, Structure HVAC & MEP maintenance projects in plant as per requirement.
o Maintenance and troubleshooting plans of factory.
