As a Country Logistics Manager my main roles are; to act as a matrix functional manager for In-Store logistics managers in IKEA stores.
Support the logistics function in the stores for competence development and put in place succession planning, feeding the retail logistics organization with competent people for future expansion.
Support and guide IKEA retail stores with operational pre-requisites and to become highly efficient volume handling stores, become top listed IKEA stores with volume handling +100, 000 m3. Planning the entire goods planning and storage solutions for long term capacity planning.
Manage 3PL activities whom are directly connected with store logistics operations.
3PL performance evaluation and setting required mid-long term actions in place to secure effective relationship with suppliers.
Speaking partner from IKEA Saudi Arabia to global business processes and IT solutions for Retail Logistics.
Representing Retail logistics in lunch of business services required to become leaders in retail market.
During my role as Logistics Manager, my main responsibilities include but not limited to, improving product availability at lowest possible cost. Participating in both tactical and operation forecasting process to align both supply and demand ends for better end availability.
Contribution to long term business planning (3 years) ensuring competitive advantage through efficient logistics processes connected with store operations.
Development of succession planning. Coaching logistics team and supporting them in their career path for becoming IKEA ambassadors.
As Logistics Competence Coach, my main responsibilities are to develop standardized working methods for KSA stores, in addition of relevant training materials supporting working methods.
I am also responsible for documenting best practices from KSA stores within logistics processes.
I am acting as a Super User for Logistics process focused on Sales Space Management and Efficient Goods Flow for the country. Connecting all stores with super user network and sharing up-to date information and development of IT tools supported by training materials.
