- Manage the operations (production and maintenance) of the factory - including Raw and Pack material management
- Responsible to ensure factory operations as per agreed performance standards of Safety, Quality, Productivity & Cost to ensure Customer Service Levels
- Lead HR policy deployment and implementation on site, including management of employee relations.
- Support implementation of innovation within the factory and deliver to agreed ramp up plans
- Manage and improve deployment of resources, people budgets and assets, to comply with cost and financial targets
- Lead site to develop and implement continuous improvement plans to deliver site targets - manufacturing performance management
- Materials and production planning for 130 Finished Goods SKUs followed by more than 400 raw packaging materials.
-Weekly preparation and communication of manufacturing requirements in such a manner to ensure 90% service level.
-Maintaining finished goods/raw/pack inventories.
-Coordination with internal supply management, manufacturing and distribution teams in execution of service level and plan conformance goals.
-Long term and Short term capacity planning.
-Bi monthly Execution of ERP based Materials Requirements Plan
-Follow up with local suppliers for packaging materials
-Coordination with development, operations and marketing for launches and re-launches
-Pipe line analysis for the materials and controlling procurement for ending up launches re launches with no or minimum write off.
-Daily monitoring of CCFOT losses occurring against customer orders received in the week.

- Won “Unilever Values Award for Bias for Action 2011-2012” for over delivering on F&L by 50% more than S&OP, helping company achieve its financial targets for Q1-2012
- Worked with Brand/Sales teams to achieve Gold Re-Launch of Fair & Lovely with minimum write off.
- Delivered launches of Clear, Sunsilk, Lifebuoy, Close up in 2012.
- Reduced category Days On Hand by 5% in the first 6 months by means of VMI, ABC classification and effective partnering with Supply Management.

- Overall management of the Factory Operations
- Timely production of all SKUs against Production Plan
- Management of Engineering and Capacity Expansion Projects
- Project Evaluation (NPV, DCF analysis) for projects and approval from Local and Regional Leadership Teams
- Coordination with R&D for Innovation Projects and implementing them on site
- Responsible for managing inventory of more than 300 Raw Materials, 200 Packing Materials and 75 Finished Goods SKUs.
- Facilitation of efficient delivery of RM/PM supplies as well as delivery of FG to Distribution Centers
- Responsible for Implementing SAP on site, key user for SAP Production Planning Module.
- Implementation of Unilever OH&S and Quality Systems at the site.
- Developing 3P manufacturing and warehousing strategy
