Leading and monitoring recruitment and hiring activity:
 Assists in the interviewing and hiring of human resource employee team members with the appropriate skills as needed.
 Ensure all recruitment techniques are used in the hiring of employees.
 Prepare job offers/expressions of regret to applicants based on decisions made by department heads and heads of sections.
 Coordinate with all joining arrangements for new hires and ensure that effective induction programs are developed to familiarize new joiners with their supervisors and peers, company policies & procedures etc.
 Coordinate with the relevant department heads and heads of sections to ensure that all new hires are provided feedback on their performance on completion of their probation period, commence with employment/termination procedures as requested.
 Prepare probation period completion form for employees who have completed their 100 day probation period.
 Responsible for visa process of an applicant from his joining to getting his civil id.
 Follow up with government relation section regarding the status of work visa, local transfer and commercial visa status or any other ministry issues.
 Prepare all HR related documentation (e.g. employment contracts, ECS form, ERF form, DCF form, termination letters, salary certificates, salary continuation certificates, promotion letters, increment letters, warning letters etc.)
 Establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources.
 Networks with local organizations (e.g. subcontractors, employment agencies etc) to source candidates for current or future openings.
 Oversees/monitors candidate identification and selection process.
 Monitor day to day follow ups on overseas recruitment status and provide feedback for improvements.
 Provides subject matter expertise to line managers regarding selection procedures.
 Screen work permits and confirm that permits and IDs are legal.
 Assist employees in obtaining new work permits when necessary.
 Develop good internal and external relationships obtain high-caliber candidates.

Managing Employee Development:
 Supports a departmental orientation program for employees to receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
 Ensures employees are cross-trained to support successful daily operations.
 Uses all available on the job training tools for employees, supervise on-going training initiatives and conducts training, when appropriate.
 Ensures coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation program to generate a positive first impression for employees and emphasize the importance of guest service in company culture.
 Ensures attendance by all new hires and participation of the leadership team in training programs.
 Collaborates with management team to ensure departmental orientation processes are in place and employees receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.

Maintaining Employee Relations:
 Assists in maintaining effective employee communication channels in the company (e.g., develops daily communications and assists with regularly scheduled meetings).
 Reviews progressive discipline documentation for accuracy and consistency, and checks for supportive documentation and is accountable for determining appropriate action.
 Utilizes an "open door" policy to acknowledge employee problems or concerns in a timely manner.
 Ensures employee issues are referred to the line managers for resolution or escalated to the director of human resources.
 Provide feedbacks to all the concern line managers for each action performed by our HR team.
 Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.

Recruitment Specialist at PORR-SBG-HBK Joint Venture, Green Line Underground Project

About the project: Porr / Saudi BinLadin Group / HBK are the main contractor for the Green line of the new Doha Metro Project in Qatar.

This project consists of 16.6km of twin bored tunnels, 8 underground stations, built at a depth of 20 meters. This project spans from Msheireb (Central Station) through to Education City and on to Al Rayan.

This project is essential in the delivery of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and is a key contributor to Qatar's 2030 vision.

My Job responsibilities include:

 Manages bulk recruitment campaigns.
 Sourcing, screening, interviewing and helping to select the most qualified candidates as per the approved manpower plan from all over the world.
 When appropriate utilizes the PSH-JV recruitment CV database, local and international networking, referrals and targeted advertising to source applicants.
 Ensure all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time.
 Respond to queries in person, by phone and email from various clients such as recruitment agencies etc.
 Monitor and update the Recruitment status report.
 Obtains and assess all certificates and testimonials of the candidates.
 Ensure completion of all documentation as per the recruitment standards and processes.
  Coordinate with the department heads for scheduling the interview with the candidates.
 Obtain the feedback from the department heads after the interview process to finalize the recruitment.
 Draft employment offer letter and contracts for selected candidates.
 Performs the required verification process for the selected candidates.
 Shall act as the point of contact for the employees and maintain regular communication with the selected candidates regarding the completion of all required joining formalities.
 Establishes and maintains files and records on an ongoing basis.
 Coordinate with local and overseas recruitment agencies to fill vacancies.
 Coordinate with the Immigration department for the processing of the work permit and the visa for the selected candidates.
 Liaise with the Housing section to arrange accommodation for the overseas recruits.
 Coordinate with the Travel officers to arrange air tickets for selected candidates who will be joining on overseas contract.
 Arrange the Medical fitness test, CID verification and the residence visa process for the new candidates.
 Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements.
 Maintains an active and organized data bank of applicants for various positions.
 Generate recruitment related reports for the Head of Recruitment and the HR Manager.
