Overseeing and responsible for the Contracts dept., Tendering and Quantity Survey dept. and reporting to
the Deputy General Manager.
⇒ Checking the overall accuracy of the take-off and specifications, produce well documented B.O.Q. &
competitive Cost estimates.
⇒ Developing and updating the Item Unit Rates for the Precision Estimation database using timberline
software.
⇒ Provide technical support to personnel preparing discipline estimates for assigned bids and insures all
working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures.
⇒ Undertaking costs analysis for new facilities as well as repair, replacement and maintenance of existing
facilities.
⇒ Arranging commercial enquiries for subcontract quotations and review and comment on received quotations
and evaluating them for approval.
⇒ Holding techno-commercial discussions with subcontractors, Preparing contracts/ purchase orders.
Monitoring the work progress & coordinate with the contractors to ensure the delivery periods meets with
the construction schedule.
⇒ Checking & verifying subcontractor’s invoices, progress payments and arrange Payment Certificates.
⇒ Track awarded contracts as required - may include estimating/pricing extra work items, change orders,
credit; procuring materials, etc.
⇒ Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
