Developed all necessary procedures and processes to ensure that sales force operated efficiently & effectively to achieve the sales objectives.
In the current role, I am looking after Sindh region, comprising of 7 Zones while managing 105 Distributors. It entails managing the retail cold chain of CCBPL to maximize the profitability of the company while maintaining cold chain’s integrity. Ensure the proper execution of trade & consumer promotions as well as proper execution of merchandising and trade incentive programs. Leading a dynamic sales team to ensure departmental goals and objectives through implementation of adequate sales strategies and tactics.
Major Achievements:
• Achieved historical growth in sales by 30% in 2011 over 2010.
• Enhanced the direct coverage net to additional 60 small towns in the region to ensure product availability to areas that were not covered before.
• To reduce the product replenishment time and selling cost, successfully initiated ‘Mega Distribution’ project, which was later rolled out at national level.
Managed South B region that comprised of 3 Zones and 9 Territories. Developed all necessary procedures and processes to ensure that sales force operated efficiently & effectively to achieve the sales objectives.
Major Achievements:
• Doubled the sales volume of the region from 46, 000 cases to 92, 000 cases per month.
• Restructured the sales force team successfully which resulted in annual cost saving of more than PKR. 4.8 million per annum for the company.
• Introduced the ‘Sales Promotional Vans’ project in the company, which was later rolled out at national level due to its successful results.
Was directly responsible for 4 areas including. Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas & Thatta that consisted of 54 Distributors, 2 Field Managers, 2 Sales Supervisors and 4 Sales Officers. Managed key client relationships and forged partnerships with new distributors. Led a dynamic sales team to achieve organizational goals and objectives through implementation of adequate sales strategies and tactics. Tracked and reviewed sales to provide analysis for increased sales opportunities and improved margins.
Major Achievements:
• Enhanced the distribution coverage from 20% to 80% in the region.
• Conducted successful retail census in all towns of Hyderabad region which led to the addition of 2000 outlets under direct coverage.
Managed entire Baluchistan and upper Sindh covering 6 Territories and 44 Distributors. Directly led a sales team of 4 Sales Supervisors and 6 Sales Officers to exploring and develop new markets and clients for maximum numeric coverage. Monitored and evaluated reports on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Improved the infrastructure and service level from distribution end, maintained and effectively utilized market assets within designated channels. Developed and performed monitoring of reporting staff, liaison with supply chains and distributors.
