Real time speech MFCC extractor (DRDO Hyderabad - India.)
The research involves the development of a real time Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCC) extractor for speech signals using MATLAB 6.5. It processes the speech input signals and gives a feature matrix whose size depends on number of frames and coefficients per frame. This is a vital process towards the development of devices that involve speech recognition.
Bit error rate performance comparison of two FSK modulation techniques in wireless sensor networks over an AWGN channel. (University of Greenwich, London - UK)
This was a research that was carried out for over a year at the campus of University of Greenwich, London. This was done to improve ways in the present technology that is being used in Wireless sensor networks (WSN) . New technology in the form of orthogonal coded frequency shift keying was introduced instead of binary frequency shift keying that was being used in the current era. Its bit error rate and signal to noise ratio was also calculated and compared using MATLAB 2010 to prove its superiority.
