Duties include
Key involvement in the re-construction of the ESOL program during the COVID 19 outbreak.
Plan, prepare and conduct ESOL classes for Refugee clients.
Prepare clients for Trinity exams from Pre-entry to L2.
Develop a scheme of work for each class/level.
Prepare/make my own materials.
Having exceptionally good skills in communicating with clients.
Support clients to attend online classes through using various online resources/apps, such as Zoom, White Board, and WhatsApp.
Keep, and build on good rapport with outside agencies i.e. the Job Centre, other colleges.
Provide very good ideas to the team on how to support the clients, raise attendance, the running of new and old courses, and how to increase the number of clients attending ESOL classes.
Lead team meetings during COVID 19 lockdowns using online resources.
Having excellent communication/ interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, and others.
Invigilate during the exams.
Able to think on my feet, during classes, exams, and meetings.
Complete all online and hardcopy of registers, learning outcomes, Weekly/Quarterly attendance registers, keeping an accurate and up-to-date client personal information file, client evidence files, and ensuring client Progression, Target Framework (ILPs) are completed and up-to-date.
