Project: CP07B - LUSAIL PLAZA INFRA, LRT STATION, PUBLIC CAR PARKS AND LANSCAPE Owner: Qatari Diar Job responsibilities: Arranging Method statement, ITP, Checklist, Material submittal and shop drawings from Aconex (Construction Project Management Software). Preparing red mark drawings as per site condition. Preparing and submission of Inspection request with test reports and checklist. Maintaining INR log with status updated. Attending inspections with consultant for the submitted INR related to works such as,
•Fire alarm
•Public Address
•Access control system
•Normal lighting
•Central Battery System
•Lighting control
•Power system
•Car parking management system
•Refuge intercom
•Interfaces with fire alarm. Re-submitting INR after complying the consultant comments. Resolving electrical related quality issues.
Project: 1. Roads and Infrastructure in Semaisma - Package 1 (West), 2. Design & Build of Al Khor Expressway, 3. Al khor Link Roads. Owner: ASHGHAL, the Public Works Authority (PWA) of Qatar. Job responsibilities: Preparing & revising Method Statement and Inspection Test Plan for electrical related activities. Reviewing electrical related material submittals & inspection requests put forth by sub contractors prior to submitting consultant. Identifying non-conformances, lead its investigation with the relevant departments and evaluating corrective & preventive action plan submitted by contractors. Project material inspection along with the consultant and Client (KM) before using the same on the work site. Site execution and Inspection of Electrical works such as
•SL and MV/LV cable laying, jointing and testing.
•SL pole, Feeder pillar and service cabinet installation & termination, Lux level testing.
•Earth rod installation & earth resistance testing. Resolving electrical related quality issues. Verifying PTW application. Follow-up Kahramaa inspection for MV/LV and PW works.
Project: Design & Build of Al Khor Expressway. Owner: ASHGHAL, the Public Works Authority (PWA) of Qatar. Job responsibilities: - Assist the Electrical Engineer in performing the contractual duties on site. Ensure performance of the work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications Review submittals, material samples and communicate with supplier or manufacturers for compliance with contract drawings and specifications. Coordinate with design team to resolve all construction issues and quality related conflicts. Establish and maintain robust procedures to develop standard documentation for the project's quality control & assurance and propose any improvements deemed necessary. Preparing Method Statement & Inspection Test Plan for electrical related activities. Reviewing Inspection requests & Material submittal submitted by subcontractors and supplier prior to submitting consultant. Identify non-conformances, lead its investigation with the relevant departments; and evaluate contractor's submitted corrective & preventive action plan. Prepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of events. Maintaining Updated Material submittal logs and arranging Material inspection with consultant prior to using materials at site. Resolving electrical related Quality issues. Assisting internal & external audits.
Project: Construction and Maintenance Service Road Enhancement to North Road Corridor- (P059). Owner: ASHGHAL, the Public Works Authority (PWA) of Qatar. Job responsibilities: - Organizing day-to-day work at site and assign the resources such as work force, materials, consumables, equipment, tools etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution. Arranging internal work permits prior to commencing daily works. Enforce performance of the work in strict accordance with the approved health & safety plan. Supervision of cable trench excavation, installation & testing of cable, installation of UPVC ducts on bridges for Under Bridge lighting & poles on the bridge, installation of grounding rod, earth resistance testing, installation of street lighting pole foundation & Feeder pillar, assembly & erection of 12m street lighting poles & High Mast etc. Execution of utility works (Installation of ducts for Q-Tel, ITS, SSD etc.) Coordinating with the team leader to complete the work in accordance with the standards and specifications of the contract documents. Submits daily progress reports and inspection requests.
Project: Construction of 220KV substation.
I started work with a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers, expertise in all aspects of design and analysis of electrical engineering. During my service with PEC, I have obtained fair knowledge in all aspects of design and analysis of electrical engineering, such as load Schedules, Lighting calculation, cable-sizing calculation, electrical load lists, single line diagram, transformer and generator sizing, electrical cable laying through routing layout, earthing layouts and hazardous area calculation etc.
