Roles & Responsibilities
•Leading Cloud Infra, DevOps & Site Reliability Team for Cloud Native Product Platforms and Lift & Shift Workloads in Cloud.
•Managing very large-scale cloud workloads (total yearly usage value is more than 12 million USD) for all business units in DP World.
•Implementation of WAN Hubs for multiple cloud regions.
•Application Zero Downtime Deployment using Azure Kubernetese Service Container Orchestration.
•Security hardening cloud platform & Infra services.
•Monitoring Infra and application metrics using observability tools like New Relic & Azure Monitor
•Implementation of SSO with Azure AD and other federated identity providers for Corporate/B2B/B2C solutions
•ITSM implementation using ServiceNow for operational requests and incident resolutions.
•Implementation of Agile Process using Azure DevOps Boards
•Design & Implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines
•Implementation of DevSecOps - Virtual Desktops, Identity Protection, Static Code Analysis, WAF for online application protection, Azure Defender for Cloud, Next Generation Firewall etc.
•Enabling collaborative workspace using OneDrive, SharePoint Online & Teams
•Managing cloud providers and other vendors - (Enterprise Agreement, RFP Evaluations, Onboarding consultants, Vendor Involvement using Cloud Provider Funding etc.)
•Hiring new resources in UAE & India.
•Cloud Cost Optimization & implementation of Custom Cost Reports for internal charge back.
•Microsoft Software License Management.
•Development SharePoint custom solutions using Dot Net & JSi
