Review of project technical specifications, scope of works, PQP, QA/QC standards and procedures, drawings and BOQ to identify and determine the quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship, and testing requirements related to mechanical works.
Responsible for preparation of WPS, PQR, ITP, PQP, quality procedures, etc. and obtaining approval from the client.
Implement and ensure the QA QC management system at site, coordinate with quality inspections with all the site contractors, sub-contractors operations, and commercial teams.
Coordinate all receipt inspections and distribute relevant QA QC documentation to the concerned personnel.
Review of engineering and vendor documents like ISO drawings, P&ID drawings, ITP, procedures, WPS, TPI reports, MTC, DT & NDT Reports, MRB, Final Handover Documents, packing list as per project technical specifications/standards, international/national standards, drawings, purchase order, etc.
Material Receiving Inspection & dimensional verification as per standards and project requirements. Carry out an inspection at vendor/manufacturer location.
Ensure all materials of pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, structural materials, equipment, etc. are being used as per IFC revised drawings and inspected through MRIR.
Carry out inspection and testing of all static and rotary equipment of process plants, storage as well as pipelines system.
Monitor and carry out an inspection for all the welding works including fabrication of pipe spools, onshore pipeline, on plot piping, in-process and visual inspection of Pre and Post welding activities as per WPS at shops or sites, Tie-Ins, structure, pressure vessel, static and rotary equipment.
Coordinate with NDT subcontractors & QC Inspectors to plan & monitor NDT activities, PWHT, repair works, etc.
Review and interpret NDT (RT, PT, UT, MPT, PMI, Ferrite) reports and update NDT progress.
Monitor the NDT Subcontractors' and suppliers’ performance and conduct performance evaluation & audits for maintaining quality control and assurance of the external service providers.
Monitor and inspect UG & AG coating and wrapping applications for joints, piping, structure.
Attend procurement meetings with vendors and project progress meetings with the client.
Plan, supervise, and witness WQT as per project requirements in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Monitor and Supervise QC Inspector closely, plan and update site inspection activities.
Ensuring use of latest revision of all Contract Documents, Contract Specifications and engineering reference and Standards.
Prepare and Maintain RFI/ITR Log, Welder Performance Log, Inspection Status, MRIR Log, Procedures Log, approved external service providers log, calibration log etc.
Review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements.
Report to the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and where necessary raise a Non-conformance Report for non-compliant work, suggest remedial action, monitor the closeout and effectiveness of the correction and corrective action undertaken.
Conduct independently or participate in the internal and external site audits and meetings
Prepare and submit Hydro test package, final QA/QC Dossier to the client for the review and approval”.
Ensure calibration of measuring and monitoring equipment.

Monitor welding of piping spools and structural members.
Perform in process and final welding inspection
Checkcalibrationofmeasuringinstrumentatworksite.
Witnessallthe specified tests in the painting ITP.
Perform painting material inspection and other material inspection.
