•Lead a virtual team of consultants from various suppliers and geographies in end to end design and deployment of Storage, Backup and Hosting environment
•Multi phased project involving massive consolidation and virtualization of about 5000+ servers and 4.2 Petabyte of data migrated
•Technologies dealt were Hitachi -VSP, UVM, HUR, Netapp, VMware, IBM AIX, HP UX and HP Data Protector
•Completed Service transition & streamlining of operational strategies for capacity management and procurement processes
•Achieved very good exposure to IS processes and compliance requirements associated to Pharmaceutical sector
Consolidated and migrated about 10+ NAS filers from two data centers to new filers and DCs
•Highly complex and high risk project completed with 100% success with meticulous planning and dry runs.
•Enabled cost avoidance of several hundred thousand dollars in resource hours and reduced downtime by well-planned Big bang Approach. NAS environment of an entire DC migrated over a single weekend down time window.
