Manager & Organiser of the GEMS Sports Series (GSS)
The GEMS Sports Series is one of the largest interschool sports tournament in the UAE. A platform that has been home for 6000 students participating in 12 different events each year. My main role as a GSS coordinator includes:
Preparing the academic sports calendar based on the availability of venues, technical partner, school dates etc.
Key communication with the schools' PE Teachers regarding the registrations, fixture, schedule & results.
Preparing the fixtures, schedule, results, rules and other essentials required for the smooth functioning of the event.
Coordinating with sponsors, technical partners and healthcare professionals required for the event.
Managing and overlooking the smooth functioning of the event.
Managing and overlooking the pre-event setup and post-event tear down.
Preparing the budget for the GSS each year. Also preparing the payments for each supplier and event.
Working closely with the marketing team to prepare creatives for each event, like website banners, Instagram & Facebook flyers and post. Onsite branding creatives like flags, a-frames, presentation boards, goody bags etc.
Updating the GSS website, Instagram and Facebook pages with event details, pictures and results.
As a part of the ESM Events Teams, my secondary role with managing cooperates events includes:
Taking the event brief from clients.
Finding the appropriate venue for the clients based on their requirements, venue availability and budget.
Preparing the quotation and following up on payments.
Reaching out to suppliers as required.
Managing and overlooking the pre-event setup and post-event tear down.
On event day, managing and overlooking the smooth functioning.

Managed & Executed the conference
The following work tasks were carried out by me:
• Contacting potential companies for sponsorship agreement and negotiating on the sponsorship proposal & exhibition space.
• The sole person of contact for the speakers at any given time.
Coordinating with speakers for their documents required for DHA & DTCM approvals.
• Sending and collecting the speaker's travel form, sharing it across with the travel team and hotel; accordingly arranging for their travel and accommodation.
• Creating content for mass emailers, flyers, event booklet, outdoor advertisement and social media posts.
• Overlooking the smooth functioning of the conference.
• Managing the Speakers' airport transfers and their hotel check in and check out.
• Along with the videographer, taking short feedback bytes from the speakers, sponsors, and delegates; in order to create an after event video.
• Reaching out to vendors and suppliers for trophies, delegate bags, printing of the booklets and flyers.
• Providing content for the website and regularly updating it.
• Operating the Cvent software, to send out mass email to speakers, sponsors, delegates. Also generating and sending out certificates through the Cvent system
1. Calling companies and fixing meetings to extend business ties with them. Promotional kiosk activation for our business client - banking sector.
2. Contacting the concerned person for the kiosk rates and permissions.
3. Supervising the ongoing kiosk activity.
4. Collecting and updating the lead forms and sending it across to the client.
5. Managed an event by ADCB, called Simplylife Little Masters, under Axis Integrated. A cricket talent hunt for kids between 10-18 years old.
