Assigned as the Infrastructure Architect, Infra Demand Planner and SME for the new demands/requirements on-boarding to On-premise and cloud solutions by various Business units within Telecom services to focus on technical assessment & validation, capacity & budget planning, security & compliance, operational and production go-live readiness, Disaster recovery & High availability, technologies & methodologies, modernizing & refreshment of existing infrastructure according to Group’s direction and guidelines to ensure the in line with Group’s program.
Held as IT Systems Manager as well as technical lead for IT Department. Advisory and coordinator to provide a recommendation on the best approach, design, and practices throughout each project/adhoc in a fast-paced environment running on various Public Cloud, on-premise technologies, virtualization infrastructure and major service providers across multi geo-locations.
Area of delivery includes technical and non-technical requirements including improvisation on existing procedures, execution strategies and consultation on other ICT (Infra, Commercial and Enterprise) areas as and when required in alignment with organizational needs, legal/ finance requirements, security & compliance, and group direction as a whole.
Significant Accomplishments:
• Consolidation of Server hardware by deploying trending Virtualization; helped the organisation to reduction in CapEx and OpEx effectively.
• Implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the IT Department to drive the maintenance and implementation, other IT related activities; helped the organisation to execute operations and process efficiently with minimum downtime.
• Assist in deployment ‘fabrication management system’ with FabTrol Systems; helped the organization to increase revenues, reduce costs, improve quality and shorten project schedules.
• Implemented Material and ‘Inventory control system’ with FabTrol Systems; helped the organization to increase nesting of materials, better-organized purchasing and receiving based on optimal usage.
• Implementation of well-designed Campus Wi-Fi infrastructure to serve availability throughout the premises.
• Successfully managed system maintenance and ensured 100% uptime; helped the organization for increased speed of the business process and attains efficient system usage
