Testing of 2 Mbps streams using Acterna E1 tester and STM using STM Analyzer.
Alarm monitoring of MW NEs through PNMS & Optical NEs through Preside.

Managing association of transmission equipments on NMS for vendors like Siemens, Alcatel lucent, Huawei, (TNMS, Netviewer, ITM-SC, eOMS, PHM, SyncView and U2000).
Responsible for the migration of traffic between the Siemens, Alcatel lucent and Huawei nodes (servers like TNMS, ITM-SC, EOMS and U2000) as per network design requirements.
Perform first level Fault diagnosis.
Carrying out MDT (Maintenance down time) and TC (Threatening condition) cutover activities for new nodes addition to the network or shifting live traffic between the nodes, migration of traffic (2MB, STM1, STM4 & STM64), Switching Off, dismantling of equipments, Software version up-gradation of different equipment and also DWDM.
Working on Granite & IMST Operations Reporting, Tends & Transmission Facility System (TFS) to get all affected customer/circuit information (Local, VIP/KA and International) and inform to the customer by email about maintenance down time.
To check/verify the Long Distance Transmission Network for the DWDM activities and verify the affected rings/links information.
Provide expert guidance to MC stations staff when required.
Analyze and propose the solution for Manageability problems in the network.
Assigning the Task to related Work Group through BMC Remedy.
Keeping a track of all the work assigned to our group in BMC Remedy.

Doing the preventive maintenance routine of various SDH nodes.
Trouble ticket handling by Remedy Trouble Ticketing Server (RTTS) using BMC software.
Handling replacement of faulty cards/modules with new spares.
Taking Planned down time for maintenance of the network so as to keep the service outages to customer services to the minimum.
Coordinate with customers (CDMA, GSM) to resolve the network related faults and ensure the better service availability.
