Proactive HSE Engineer Strategically Safeguards Operations in UAE and KSA
Ensure that the Safety Plan is being implemented, monitored, and reviewed in all departs.
Provide Advice on training requirements and arrange training courses for all needed employees.
Carry out investigations of serious accidents in accordance with Company Policy and prepare and provide statistics.
Supply any necessary literature for use or display at sites or workplaces.
Carry out regular inspection of sites and workplaces to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Safety Policy, Method Statements, and the relevant statutory provisions. Provide an Inspection Report
to site management and send a copy of the report to the Manager.
Identifying potential hazards on new contracts before the commencement of work, proposing the safety organization and emergency precautions required.
Compiling reports on safety and health activities including safety inspection reports.
Record and analysis of information on injuries, damage, and production loss, assess accident trends and review overall safety performances.
Prepare safety and health requirements, compiling the safety manua land all related procedures.
Ensuring all United Arab Emirates Government regulations concerning safety and health are implemented in the execution of the project.
Ensuring that all safety equipment and personal protective clothing used on the project is suitable for use and complies with the approved standard.
Providing information and advising management on safety and health requirements and promoting a regular exchangeof information on current safety performance record.
Maintaining the subcontractor’s safety performance and advising the Project Manager on subcontractor’s safety performance record.
Prepare and implement administrative plans for reports, records, statistics, and special safety meetings.
Conducting joint project safety inspections with the sub-contractor’s representatives within their areas of responsibility and assisting them in providing on the job safety training for their employees where required.
Compiling reports on safety and health activities on site.
Liaise with site management to ensure that all work is planned and conducted safely.
Liaise with local medical staff and monitor injury reporting system.
Conduct accident investigations and notification to management of all findings.
Prepare risk assessment for all activities of installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization work.
Conducting safety induction for new employees of the
company and periodical induction for site persons
Duties and Responsibilities:-
1. Orientation of new employees, researches and studies for the improvement of safety in the project.
2. Attend safety coordination meetings with Client & Contractors to Ensure compliance.
3.Ensuring proper implementation of Dubai Municipality (DM)code of practice and guidelines implementations.
4. DEWA HSEMS/Code of practice and guidelines implementation
5. Preparation and submission of All the HSE related documents and reports to concerned authorities for approvals and Analysis
6. Monitor the supervisors/Engineers & even workers to follow safe working practice.
7. Review accident and incident reports. Identify any trends and ensure that there is appropriate response to prevent future occurrence.
8. Produce HSE performance reports as required promptly alert line and functional management to significant accidents and incidents.
9. Where appropriate be involved in the investigation and ensure that the findings are reported and appropriately shared.
10. Responsible and analyze accidents and safety violations and take corrective action as required.
11. Competent enough to prepare HSE Plan, ERP, JSA, HIRA, Risk Assessment, HSE Organogram, and all other major documents related to HSE.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
1. Ensure that project HSE requirements are widely and consistently understood and implemented,
2. Establish and maintain a professional relationship with company’s, contractor’s, subcontractors HSE professionals and multinational workforce.
3. Apply hazard identification and risk assessment processes to project activities and implementation of appropriate control measures to reduce the risks.
4. Ensure project HSE requirements are communicated to all relevant personnel and verify compliance by all appropriate means meetings, inspections & monitoring,
5. Ensuring Job Safety Analysis is properly carried out for all the activities.
6. Develop, implement and carry out training on the company safe system of work procedures
7. Ensure Effective implementation of company HSE management system.
8.Reporting corporate management about HSE statistics.
9. EIL/BPCL code of practice and guidelines implementation
10. Prepare and maintains all the documents related to HSE
Duties and Responsibilities:-
1. Conduct Tool Box talk/ meeting daily before the start of work maintain safety and health standards in the execution of day-to-day work activities.
2. Conduct site inspection, monitoring and checking the PTW or the Permit to Work compliance, tools, equipment’s and other important documents prior to start of work.
3. Coordinate all hot/cold/confined space work permit to supervisor prior to commence workplace activity.
4. Conducting housekeeping inspection at site office and work locations.
5. Develop, implement and carry out training on the company safe system of work procedures
6.Ensures that PPE’s are worn by all the employees in the workplace
7. Monitoring the site major/ critical activities such as Excavation, Scaffolding, Lifting/ erecting procedures and other hazardous jobs.
8. Maintain construction and general industry safety and health programs, to include regular visits to job sites
