Lead the team of Safety Consultant to ensure commissioning pre-commissioning and PSSR is conducted for all refinery process plants.
Actively involved in, pre-commissioning, commissioning, construction and post project assessment and stabilization of refinery plants.
Review and approved pre-commissioning technical packages carried out by the EPCC Companies.
Developing, deployment and monitoring of HSE management system including policies procedures, guidelines and occupational Health and Safety Programs across the departments and entire organization.
Identification of Regulatory Requirements and ensuring that organization is in compliance.
Provide assistance and advise on HSE issues to line management across the organization
Ensure HSE procedures and policies are updated and reviewed from time to time to ensure they are effective.
Actively involved in review and conducting of risk assessments like JSA, HAZOP and What if Checklist.
Review and analysed HSE incidents and root cause analysis reports to prepare analysis and recoemmdation to Safety Steering Committee for timely actions.
Keep track of HSE key performance Indicator and prepare weekly, monthly reports to management.
Participation in PSSR study and initiate / review MOC. Also, ensure that process related PSSR procedures are followed and MOC procedure is applied as per the recommendation.
Develop and conduct safety trainings to employees and contractors (Safety Induction, work permit, Management of change general safety training safety leadership etc.)
Develop and deploy HSE communication program ( HSE Campaigns and international days celebrations )
Participate in mock drill and provide recommendations to improve emergency response in case of Level I and II emergencies inside and outside the company.
Participate in HSE incident investigation with team and ensure HSE incident process is followed to report and completion investigation to prevent similar incident in future.
Actively involved in conduction Safety Management System Audits and Job Site Inspection.
Conduct and review Behaviour observation program across the organization to be more effective in implementation.
Participate and provide support for organization to ensure Lender and Insurance protocol are fulfilled and followed
Selection and approval of Personal Protective Equipment.
Develop and get approval of management for yearly HSE goals and objective
Development and deployment of Radiation Protection Program as per King Abdulla City for Atomic and Renewable Energy and ensure compliance.
I was involved to support Turnaround in planning and execution stage as safety leader and have participated to develop and implement turnaround strategy, HSE plan, Tracking progress of Turnaround HSE KPIs during execution, Closed out report, improvement plan and Trainings for all execution Contractors.
Ensure compliance to local statutory requirements and Organization Policy and Guidelines.

Participate in Process Hazard Analysis with other team members for MOCs, New Facilities
Conducting PSSR ( Pre Startup Safety Review ) with team for New facility / Start up after shutdown for refinery unit and Tanks Conducting Monthly Safety Meeting in plant.
Conducting RESOP ( Reliance Safety observation process ) - Behavior Based Safety rounds in plants
Conducting various Safety Audits like Work Place Safety, Process Safety Management, and Contractor Safety Audits.
Safety Training to Employee / Contractor on various Safety topics, Safety Procedures
Tool box talk to Employee /Contractor
Contractor Safety performance evaluation as per company procedure and policy
