Responsible for pre purchase evaluation, procurement and installation of medical equipment. • Provide technical support to all hospital personnel in the commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment. • Supervise the vendors and company contractors on preventive maintenance works to ensure quality of works and compliance to required hospital standards. • Manage stock and spares for front line technical support and assist stock supervisor in documentations. • Respond to emergency breakdowns to decrease machine downtime by coordinating with contractors. • Develop maintenance schedule for equipments out of contract period and implement PPM as per standard and documented. • Ensure electrical and mechanical safety are carried out through proper testing tools and calibration are done periodically for safe operation of end user. • Provide training for medical equipments periodically to the end users . • Provide leadership in our biomedical team to complete the task in efficient manner. • Active performer in our hospital safety committe (CBAHI)• Knowledge in joint commission accreditation.
