Project 1: Automated Weighing & Performance Management System \[PROMPT\]

This system is tailored to cater the tea plantation sector in Sri Lanka. This system is designed to maximize
the productivity of tea producers by providing tools to assist in the automated tea weighing process. More
specifically, the core benefits of this system are cost reduction, reliability, productivity, availability and
performance.
This system consists of two main parts such as mobile based Android application and backend web portal.
The mobile application will be used for login authentication, recording daily tea pluckers weighing using
digital scales via Bluetooth, marking attendance via NFC & Iris Scanning, and recording all field level
weighing processes. In the meantime, the backend web portal will be used to apply control and monitor
daily operations. Backend web system will also allow the management to set estate level parameters to
orchestrate the estate operations.
I was responsible to study their existing manual processes, architect and design a feasible, convenient
system with scalability and user experience in mind. We have mainly used agile practices to complete this
project and I lead the Web and Android development team throughout.

Project 2: Tea Factory Automation System (Digitalization) \[BLADE\]
This system is developed and deployed at tea factories, to record all the Leaf intakes from tea suppliers.
BLADE allows to record the Gross weight, specify deductions, calculate net weight and print the
transaction summary on a passbook using a passbook printer from the Factory weighing point.

Project 3: Online Compensation System (Accounting Package) \[BLOCS\]
BLOCS is responsible to retrieve the Net weights of each tea supplier via BLADE system and calculate
monthly payable values by keeping track of all other estate transactions, advance requests etc. It is a
complete accounting package which allows to view dynamic ledgers real-time and calculate month-end
debts. this system is also capable of printing invoices, bank statements and plotting the debt aging visually.

Project 4: Digital Signage System \[Xpress Broadcasting\]
Client: LOLC Technologies, Sri Lanka

Project 5: Automated Weighing & Employee Authentication System \[INFINITY\]
Client: DPL Dip Products, Sri Lanka

Project 6: Latex Transport & Management System \[LOTS\]

Project 7: GPS based context aware Digital Signage Solution for Vehicles
This is an Android based less expensive signage system optimized for on-the-go scenarios. The main
objective is to prompt location based advertisements/messages while playing the main signage content on
the screen. I have headed this research project by closely monitoring the Android & web development
teams.
