Designing and Building complex GIS solutions for municipalities, ministries and private sector. Also we work on some geo enabled products for public on both web and mobile platforms. My responsibilities involve finding the best technical solutions for given problems, determine the software solution structure, behaviors, system design, defining features, phases, and solution requirements.
Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered. I also lead a team of developers throughout the project life cycle to make till we do successful delivery of the project and I work on documentation and project stakeholder communication.
I’m a part of the Strategy team responsible of setting the Strategic plans of NSDI through Roadmaps, subsequent project plan, security policy, stakeholder engagement policy. I’m also responsible for technical infrastructure design, system design, and solution architecture.
I’m involved in NGDB(National Geodatabase) design, dissemination, security and synchronization with stakeholders.
• Participate in the Technology design and implementation for the SDI program
• Manage the application uptime and performance on the ongoing basis
• Identify, create and manage the online services of program to its clients (Creation of web services WMS-WFS etc, )
• Maintain security of the application and data
• Coordinate with Information Technology Authority to comment SDI Program
• Participate in the development of security policies and ensure the policies are implemented in applications and services
• Design the application specifications in coordination with program management bodies and stakeholders
• Demonstrate the applications being developed to program management and stakeholders, collect feedback and get the feedback implemented in the applications

Design and Implement an Enterprise Geospatial Utility Solution for MEW(Kuwait Municipality of Water & Electricity) for the Water & Electric Utilities (Distribution and Transmission) tightly integrated with the real time and static systems (SCADA, Smart Metering, CRM, ERP). K&A will act as the System Integrator and Sub-Contractor to OpenWare (local ESRI Distributor).

It includes customization of ArcGIS Explorer (a 3D Data Explorer) and a development of a web Mapping application using flex technology.

Brief Description:The project objective was to improve the quantity and quality of the service that AD-SDI users experience while utilizing the Geospatial Portal and Data Clearinghouse platform through the provision of basic spatial applications and service modules. This includes both end user applications as well as service modules that are incorporated as components within other e-Government services. A series of spatial applications and service modules were deployed on the AD-SDI geospatial portal and clearinghouse. The objective of these applications and modules is to reach to specific users with functionality tailored to their needs.
