Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparing the basic and detailed contract schedule by taking inputs from respective stakeholders, Work package manager’s (WPM’s) and Subcontractor to generate Master Schedule.
• Challenge the Contractor schedule & look for all opportunities to compress the schedule.
• Preparing the project S-Curve’s & Progress Measurement Sheet (P.M.S) for EPC contract based on the approved Rules of Credit (R.O.C) from Client/Customer.
• Break activities into smaller weighted steps and track the completion of the steps to determine the activity percent complete.
• Assign resources to activities to admeasure & generate distribution curves to reflect how the work Schedule performed.
• Progress taken by Earned value management (EVM)-Earned values from the start of resources assignments to date of actual finish.
• Analyzing the Critical Path & near critical Activities from P6 and informing to site team and alarming the stakeholders of the project communicate accordingly.
• Monitoring & controlling the project by generating & maintaining the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reports.
• Performing the schedule analysis, updating to the management accordingly, criticality of the activity and generating alarm to the construction team to complete the task on given timeframe before its lead to the successor activity.
• Coordination with all related stakeholders to keep the project schedule updated.
• Extracting 2 Week’s & 3 Month’s look ahead schedule from Primavera P6 to monitor & overcome the challenges determined by the activities to finish the task on given planned completion date.
• Check project concerns and ensure follow up actions to close issues.
• Monitoring and Controlling of the integrated schedule of all activities in Project.
• Report accurately Plan Vs Actual and assessment of the forecast weekly to the management.
• Providing daily progress report updates form site team/Project Engineer accordingly.
• Investigate delay & suggest mitigation actions to minimize impact to Request for Start-Up (RFSU) dates.
• Check project concerns and ensure follow-up actions to close issues by weekly/Bi-weekly basis.
• Challenge the delivery date and expedite all critical items to project team & Supplier by submitting priority list of items to optimize delivery date of Equipment’s and to deliver Partially/batches to meet-up completion date of procurement on time.
• Work closely with contractor to obtain actual progress & obtain weekly material update.
• Monitor and Tracking the Transmittals through (MDL) Master document list in accordance with the Approved Documentation and Numbering Scheme for Documents.
• Preparing Project Invoice monthly/quarterly basis to get Cash-In flow according as per progress achieved at site and validate by Customer/client.

Planning and Scheduling Engineer at Al-Mobty Contracting Company
