• Implement Energy conservation, water conservation, waste reduction and materials management on site to promote sustainability and maintain Canada Green Building Council codes.
• Audit energy consumption metrics to sustain energy savings by utilizing ASHRAE level 1, 2 & 3 and following the Green Energy Act of Ontario.
• Coordinate with client and contractors on preparation of drawings and defining the scope of works.
• Verify design for MEP services including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing for upcoming renovations and extensions.
• Perform site assessments and lease with the concerned parties to ensure work progress.
• Ensure timely reporting on the work progress and material usage on site.

• Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements
• Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates
• Identify sustainability and energy saving opportunities in design of MEP systems as per Estidama, LEEDS and ASHRAE guidelines
• Maintain Green building standards by ensuring a sustainable site design and building services design, identify areas to improve energy efficiency and calculate the ROI
• Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions
• Control project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts
• Maintain Green building standards by ensuring a sustainable site design and building services design
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
• Coordinate owner related technical and non-commodity aspects during the design including vendor pre-qualification and spare parts recommendations
• Prepare the complete package specification including all relevant package sections
• Obtain a good understanding of the commercial conditions provided by the procurement group
• Prepare the bidder’s list with input from the appropriate project authorities and obtain approval according to the project procedures
• Coordinate with different departments and contractors including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Accounts, Procurement, HR, etc. for all works to be completed in timely and cost efficient manner.
