1. Assists with admission, orientation and discharge of patient.
2. Takes and records vital signs, weight and height of admission and informs HN/RN in case of abnormality.
3. Assists the patient with physical care: oral hygiene, feeding, bathing care of skin, personal grooming, etc.
4. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, ambulation and transportation of patients, promptly answers patient call light.
5. Records accurately and legibly any prescribed data on the treatment graphic and worksheets.
6. Performs bed making neatly, closed or open bed. Performs cleansing enemas. Assists in transporting patient to X-ray, Echo, Doppler, CT Scan, and Endoscopy.
7. Has to attend initial orientation. Attends required in-service on an annual basis. E.g. BCLS, infection control, safety and computer training.
