Managing all IT Assets (Hardware) such as ensuring all hardware purchases are accounted for and is recorded accurately in the IT Asset inventory.
Ensuring that processes and procedures are followed and enforced to ensure effective management and tracking of all IT hardware & software.
Ensuring that all IT hardware are reported for repaired on a timely manner (under warranty and out of warranty). Ensuring that critical equipments are covered under warranty.
Maintaining and updating the location information, utilization information, purchase history, warranty information, repair history and disposal information of all HDPM IT hardware.
Reconciling IT Hardware Inventory Report with Finance Department asset register.
Properly managing the IT Storerooms and ensuring that all movements in and out of IT storeroom are recorded.
Proactively reviewing and improving process and procedures relating to hardware management.
Ensuring that all IT Hardware movement are capture into the Barcode System via Barcode Scanner.
Manages IT Department’s general administration.
Projects (migration/remigration/relocation) coordination and management
Managing activities within the business, ICT, Finance and procurement, in ensuring valid record keeping for deployed assets.

• Pioneer in set up of Build-A-Bear Workshop Stores in Middle East
o Assist in company formation and legal documents; sourcing store locations and set up head office and warehouse.
o Dealt with logistic/ shipping company, retail software developer and consultants, hardware & network suppliers and accounting system consultant, and other vendors.
o Part of developing the company website and content management system updates
• Previously handled Recruitment for Managerial positions - Assistant and Store Manager
• Store In - charge/Store Manager in Build-A-Bear Workshop Bahrain, Kuwait & UAE Stores ( if needed) and aims to give customer satisfactions at all times.
• Temporary handled Administrative and Receptionist works if PRO/ADMIN is on leave.
• In charge for the NEW Store IT infrastructure set up; System Roll Out implementation, design and upgrades for UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait Stores and offices.
• Participates in preparing IT budget requirements, development of policies and procedures related to Build A Bear Workshop computer users and their applications.
• Administer and manage the IT Asset of the stores which include procurement of IT equipments and supplies as per Management Approval; receives deliveries from vendors and manage IT asset inventory for Stores in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Head office.
• Provide system administration and helpdesk support, which include software and hardware installations, maintenance, upgrades, implementations, troubleshooting, user account administration, Active Directories for Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2, and on site and remote support.
• Monitoring and performing all data archiving/backup and recovery processes.
• Responsible in installation and maintenance of all store/back office IT equipments for all the Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in Middle East and head office which include HP Proliant Raid Servers G6, Windows Servers 2003 & 2008, NAS, workstations such as Windows XP & Windows 7, Cisco network switches, HP & Dell printers, Point of Sales, portable data terminals, fax machines, Cisco IP phones, photocopiers, scanners, kiosks, CCTV system, sound systems in good working condition.
• In Charge for Telephone, Mobiles, Internet Applications, Site to Site VPN concerns and set up application and IT Administration concerns and clerical reports.
• Data Management: Ensure accurate and complete data capturing and generate MIS reports from Business Objects Retail Pro and SQL databases.
• Produce and present documentation, training and Standard Operating procedures for Users both back office and store operations use.
