Data Privacy:
1. Developing and implementing data protection and privacy policies, procedures, and practices in alignment with relevant regulations such as GDPR and UAE PDPL.
2. Proactively identifying privacy risks and gaps within the local business/function and collaborating with Global Privacy Office on appropriate remediation activities.
3. Conducting comprehensive Data privacy impact assessments(PIAs) and other risk assessments to identify potential data privacy risks and ensuring the completion of risk mitigations including escalations when necessary.
4. Managing and responding to Data Subject Rights (DSR) requests, developing Inventory lists, Monitoring access rights to data, ensuring adherence to the Retention Schedule, Overseeing compliant data transfers and conducting privacy audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data privacy and security practices are consistent across the organization.
Compliance:
1. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies, standard operating procedures, and training programs to ensure an effective risk and compliance program in the Gulf region.
2. Maintain meticulous compliance documentation, records, and policies to support audits and inspections, ensuring a robust record-keeping system is in place.
3. Conduct regular internal audits to assess the organization's compliance with regulations and policies. This includes developing audit plans, executing audits, and reporting findings.
4. Conduct due diligence (ABC) on third-party vendors and partners to ensure their compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
5. Provide compliance training to employees, ensuring they are well-informed about the regulations and policies that impact their roles.
Procurement:
1. Provide guidance to Business owners on Competitive bidding and sourcing guidelines to be followed for Vendor selection, onboarding and contracts.

Payroll Operations
• Consolidate payroll input for GCC countries in an accurate and timely closure, including the account reconciliations for schooling, air ticket, LIVE IT wellbeing allowances and other necessary payroll inputs

• Digitalized HR forms (Housing advance, Transport advance, Remote Travel allowance, Schooling reimbursement and LIVE IT wellbeing form) to have a faster and easier process
• Establish SharePoint site for Organon MENAT cluster and design MSD and Organon HR Portal site
• Operate leave management and leave reports using ARS (Absence Reporting System) software
• In charge of HR services related Vendor addition, extension and updates on the new MDG system following compliant process by liaising with Global & Local procurement and Business practice team; Raise purchase orders and submit team expenses in SAP COMET and ATLAS system
• Guide Managers with Workday and download Workday reports - Custom Reporting (Calculated Fields, Advanced, Standard Reports)
• Demonstrate technical expertise on the automated systems and processes in designated areas of responsibility (E.g. Workday, ARS, MDG, COMET, ATLAS, HR portal etc)

Record Maintenance and Reports
• Submitted in compensation and benefits detailed survey on HR survey platforms like Mercer, Mercer Gold and Willis Towers Watson
• Consolidate current HR files and databases with documents related to the employee lifecycle activities
• Produce HR documents, like employment contracts, new hire guides, exit documents and other employee letters e.g. Embassy letters, No objection letter etc.

Legal & Compliance
• Ensure HR record keeping and reporting fully complies with the provisions of the Data Protection Act
• Groundwork to develop, maintain and implement HR SOPs and policies
• Ensuring the implementation and application of MSD HR directives, policies, processes, systems and programs for Human Health and Animal Health employees in alignment with the local HR, legal lead and in accordance with local law in each GCC country;
• Revise company’s employee legal consent forms with latest updates


Insurance Management
• Act as a liaison between employees, insurance brokers (AON) and the Global Procurement and support the review of existing polices to determine new and shifting insurance needs.
• Liaise with medical insurance provider to register new staff, leavers, claims and cancellation of policies
• Expedite the broker or insurance provider on time and care sensitive claims, which are not processed within agreed timelines while keeping claims information confidential
• Formalize all Insurance provider and Insurance broker payments as required

• Drive organizational change by ensuring staff remain engaged, motivated and valued.
