My duties involve aiding the senior management of BlueRidge IT, an Established IT Infrastructure Consultancy, with various HR related tasks as well as financial, procurement and accounting related responsibilities, all under strict confidentiality:

•Personally responsible for the recruitment, selection and onboarding of new technical and sales staff. Handled the search for candidates, hiring and negotiating with employment agencies when required, job screenings, short listing of candidate pool and would conduct the final interview jointly with line managers. All under the high employee standards required to maintain BlueRidge IT’s performance and position as a Microsoft Gold Partner.

•Performed visa and employment processing from start to finish with candidates in direct communication with the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority. Carried out orientation and induction of the new employees, along with assignment to a mentor in the case of technical staff.

•Performed Onboarding of foreign candidates, guiding them through the required legal processes, managing their flight to the UAE and ingratiating them to life in Dubai to facilitate and ease the start of their work contributions to the company from their first day.

•Developed and enforced BlueRidge IT’s HR policy based on best industry practices.

•Managed employee expense claims, compensation and rewards, work resource budgets, holiday requests and complaints.

•Setup and managed employee training and certifications as per Microsoft Gold Partner Requirements.

•Managed employee termination directly and calculated their EOS and gratuity benefits as per the UAE Labor Law.

•Calculated performance based commissions for Technical and Sales staff. Processed the montly payroll and communicated with banks to ensure swift salary transfers if any issues arose.

•Developed and designed performance appraisals for managers to gauge the growth of all staff over time.

•Provided advice on UAE labor law to senior management under numerous circumstances.

Additional responsibilities included:

•Cooperated and liaised with external auditing companies during yearly audits for Trade License renewal.

•Financial administration and recording of all company transactions using QuickBooks Accounting Software.

•Management of the procurement process in support of sales staff through the calculation, creation and processing of Purchase Orders, Quotes, Customer Invoices and Payments. Personally handled the delivery of these documents or through sales staff depending on circumstances.

•Managed price and product negotiations with vendors to gain competitive prices and timely delivery of products as per project requirements. Was responsible for the purchasing, storage and delivery of physical goods and provision of software licenses to customers or assigned technical staff. Ensured timely payment of vendors and retrieval of payments due from customers.

•CRM database management through the use of MS Dynamics, in support of and cooperation with Sales Staff.

•Organized and maintained a database of all existing and potential vendors along with their product line and services for price comparisons and ensured availability of all potential costumer product requirements as under BlueRidge ITs scope.

Achievement Highlights:

•Developed all of BlueRidge IT’s H.R. Policies from scratch to create a good environment for employees to excel and focus on their jobs.

•Carried out an internal company project in conjunction with Team Leaders and technically-experienced employees to identify training and certification standards for the benefit of junior employees to assure that Microsoft Gold Partner requirements and company standards are maintained in the future.

•Developed the internal procurement process for BlueRidge IT for swift response times. Set up professional relationships and good rapport with vendors over time to assure quote retrieval within at least 24 hours and increasingly favorable payment terms.

H.R. Training Administrator at Transguard Group

My main duties entailed supporting Senior management within the Training Department:

•Supporting the selection and recruitment process of new candidates through skills assessment and language tests (Written and Spoken, under UK English Language Standards). Handling groups of 15 to 30 or more individuals (blue and white color candidates) to assess and mark their viability as per the company standards established for their applied position.

•Carrying out skills and language reassessment of existing employees, often in support of training staff conducting skills and language development courses assigned to said employees.

•Communicating existing and adjusted HR policies and procedures across the organization.

•Managing and updating a performance database containing all of Transguard Group’s current and past employee’s skills and language assessment records, with keen detail to their test performance for use by trainers and the Senior Training Manager. Provided detailed reports concerning test performance results.

•Played a key role in ensuring the successful launch of new-employee orientation and the testing and evaluation center for Transguard Group. This included the successful operations of the assessment center which involved employee linguistics testing, presentations, role plays, group discussions and interviews.

•Employed tools and methodologies for precise benchmarking of candidates against technical, behavioral and cultural fit requirements for each position. Revised job descriptions across all levels with detailed duties and skills required for each position.
