Responsible for overall management of warehousing, planning Distribution & logistic operations

Worked as warehouses supervisor at worldwide company called Amtaar Investment Company in the Northern Province at Sudan which is big agriculture company / we were using the ERP system for the warehouses. And provided the management daily, weekly and monthly reports for all the activities that done by the warehouses. The warehouses staff was 45 employees (storekeepers, labors and forklifts and trucks drivers, Also I was in charge for the daily loading operations for the productions (Alfalfa) which transporter by the company trucks to the port for export.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and controlling of all materials in transit through the WMS, Control Port, customs and export / import documentation, shipment documents such ETD, ETA, BL, AWB Containers, transportation etc.
• Responsible for supervising all activities of the warehouse pertaining to incoming and outgoing shipments, storage, handling and disposition of materials and issuance of finished goods, distribution and dispatching, prepared sea shipments tracking report maintains organized record and data for effective storage control.
• Designed improved or Plan warehouse layout and space requirements for loading and unloading the containers in a safety manner procedures and trained staff to minimize product damage & loss and damage reports as needed.
• Analyze, prepare, and execute quarterly review of inventory, mid-year, and annual physical inventory count and write-off recommendation to ensure inventory control.
• Review of Material requisitions received for completeness of specifications, segregation into fixed assets, consumables, spares, project materials.
• Direct the activities of staff in relation to transportation operations including dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
• Follow-ups insurance, registration, permits formalities for all owned and contracted vehicles in coordination with relevant departments. Investigates traffic accidents and follow-up insurance claims.
• To develop productive working relationships and communicate Effectively, advising, guiding &
Suggestion with colleagues, managers, other warehouse & department staff and workers.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team of warehouse workers & think strategically and engage in continuous process improvement and cultivate a positive and innovative work.
• Develop and implement warehouse handling safety and cleaning procedures in order to provide a safe, secure, and clean working environment, to be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines.

Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders, processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders.

Issuing and replacing Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) for Company Employees.
