• Ensure effective communication of HSE requirements and deficiencies to Line management of respective SBU (specifically GM)
• Act as focal point for line requirements in HSE for business unit in facility of operation
• Advise on HSE issues to employees to operate the HSE Management system within the area of jurisdiction.
• Draft project HSE documentation for review and approval by management, including HSE plans, bridging document, HAZID’s project specific Emergency Response Plans etc.
• Conduct Safety Awareness and “Toolbox” Meetings
• Support in the draft of risk assessments for proposed projects and advice management of environmental concerns.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections of offshore and onshore work site visits, safety audits, report and track recommended remedial measures and follow up actions to ensure compliance with company HSE management system.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings to communicate HSE information received from the management and lessons learned from incidents to the workforce.

Scope of Job: Fabrication, Construction and Load out of The Mobile Offshore Production Unit
2. #5 LNG Module for QATAR GAS
Client: CTJV, QATAR
Scope of Job: Fabrication, Construction and Load out of module involving 5 levels and installation of various instruments on to the module
3. INDAGO Jacket and Working platform for RAK PetroleumClient: INDAGO OMAN Scope of job: Fabrication, Construction, Load Out and Installation of the 82 Meter Jacket and 4-level module.
4. BUE Barge No-04, Cutting Barge No-8 and No-9
Client: BUE MARINE, KAZAKISTAN
Scope of Job: Fabrication and Load out of 3 Barges for BUE MARINE
o Carry-out routine yard and workshop inspection including marine jetty
o Observes operations and activities, reports unsafe conditions and unsafe practices
o Performs gas-free testing at confined spaces of marine vessels and pressure vessels
o Investigate accidents, near-misses and safety related problems
o Conducts safety induction, weekly safety meeting, toolbox talks and safety trainings/seminars
o Coordinates with 3rd party the bi-annual re-inspection and re-certification of lifting loose gears and equipments (mobile, tower and overhead cranes, and forklifts)
o Perform regular inspection of fire pumps, fire alarm systems, fire fighting and safety equipments
o Implement and monitor Permit to Work system, issue work permits
Implement and monitor safe execution of jobs during dry-docking and un-docking of marine vessels
Receiving assignment, notification, reporting location, reporting time, and travel instructions from the home agency. Receives briefing from immediate supervisor. The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety. The Safety Officer will correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, although the Safety Officer maintains awareness of active and developing situations. The Safety Officer ensures there are safety messages in each Incident Action Plan. During initial response, document the hazard analysis process, hazard identification, exposure assessment and controls. Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work plan. Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts. Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas. Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) Assign assistants and manage the incident safety organization. Review and approve the Medical Plan. Receive reports from Site Safety Enforcement Assistant and incorporate changes into the site safety plan. Ensure site safety plan is completed in time to be incorporated into Incident Action Plan. Complete annual Lab Chemical Safety Survey, Chemical Hygiene plan and coordinate tailoring and implementation of the laboratory-specific Chemical Hygiene Plan. Inform on-site personnel of the “No Smoking” policy and utilize best efforts to enforce it, throughout the duration of the project and report violations of the policy to senior on site management. Perform on-site inspections on a regular basis including: fire lanes are clear, material storage is located in accordance with the Fire Safety Plan and not blocking fire access, and flammable and combustible liquids are not stored in the buildings.
