RONA project include developing a new web based eCommerce system for Rona Inc, which has transactional, customized and proactive capabilities to manage online purchase of rona products by its customers.
Individual contribution were to develop functional verification test scenarios and execution on the Development environment based on the requirements from IBM Canada Rona, recording defects in defect tracking tool bugzilla and providing support for System testing.
(ii) IBM Case Manager, Enterprise application management provides knowledge workers to extract critical case information through integrated business rules, collaboration and analytics. Ability to capture industry best practices in frameworks and templates to empower business users and accelerate return on investment. Applications of case manager by industry are Health care, government, Insurance, banking, utilities etc.
Individual contribution as part of performing system testing were to develop test cases and execution using IBM rational tools. Perform various types of testing on the case manager product such as build verification testing, global verification testing, performance and accessibility testing using screen reader test Jaws and violation report using policy tester tool. Test environment set up on platforms such as windows, Linux, Solaris by downloading and installing the case manger builds and other software components.
(iii) Vodafone Metadata warehousing and Vodafone Enterprize, To build an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solution to deliver KPI reporting and dashboards and build foundation for future enhancement. Solution will be built on shared UK Mobile and Fixed infrastructure to enable future reporting. It will build a foundation for future analytical enhancement. Also, will allow us to move away from the operational reporting on application data. At Present, Vodafone does not have an Enterprise Data Warehouse solution, It only has a reporting tool which is not fit-for-purpose given the complexity and nature of fixed-Line business and a vision to transform the business. Vodafone reports are purely based on operational data in application silos. Vodafone does not have any capability of viewing customer information across applications, business processes, and revenue streams.
