The preparation of Bills of Quantities for budgets, cost plans and estimates. Checking the client Bills against issued drawings and specifications.
Key Objectives of the Job
Preparation of Bill of Quantities for Buildings and Infrastructure projects.
To interrogate information and produce accurate quantities for pricing and procurement purposes.
Prepare and check Bills of Quantities for pre-contract estimates and Cost plans.
Study the contract documents to have complete knowledge of exact requirements and specifications.
Follow the method of measurements and procedures.
Visit to ongoing project sites to collect actual data to check against the calculated quantities.
Deliver Bill of Quantities to Senior QS and assigned Estimator, Cost planner and the Procurement
Key Objectives of the Job
Comparison study and cross checking of different Bill of Quantities with Specifications and Drawings.
Preparing Bill of Quantity according to specifications and requirements.
Preparing Query List and taking follow up with the Local Dealers.
Coordinating with site management for work progress requirements.
Preparing Schedule of Construction chart and diagrams.
Diploma in Civil Engineering from Board of Technical Education, Kerala- India (1995-1998) Graduate in Quantity Surveying from NICMAR, India
