Planning of preventive and predictive maintenance of the plant
Ensuring calibrations, qualification and revalidations of the
equipment's are performed as per schedule (VMP) in conjunction
with QA.
Budget preparation and control proposed the budget for financial
year and get an approval
Provide strategic and operational direction and decision making to
the Maintenance staff in support of company goals and objectives
Responsible for effective compliance of the QMS system (Change
Control system, Deviations, CAPA, etc)
Ensure safety & statutory compliance is done effectively in the area
and Safety culture development, Standard Safety Practices like Work
permit System, HAZOP, Incident Investigation, Manpower handling.
Proposal of new projects /upgradations on facilities / machineries for
enhancing production/compliances
Preparing HAZOP Analysis and Impact Analysis reports of
engineering equipment at the plant
Operation & maintenance of utility equipment like chiller, Air
compressor, Nitrogen plant, Boiler, HVAC system, Water plant etc.
Responsible for all engineering related documentation work
(Preparation SOP, Equipment qualification like DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)
Preparing preventive maintenance activities & plan.
Attending Preventive maintenance of equipments like Reactors, , Pumps, , Condenser, Vacuum pumps, Boiler, Thermo pack, & Cooling Tower etc.
Maintaining Annual preventive Maintenance of Equipment as per Schedule and Spares parts inventory.
Documentation related SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure).
Attending modification of pipe lines.
Maintaining ISO document preparation.
Performing necessary activities for smooth functioning of the department with consulting manager maintenance.
Preparing and maintain of the necessary record required for preventive maintenance.
Arranging for preventive & break down maintenance (mechanical/ electrical) of the plant machinery equipments & instruments.
Optimum utilization of available resources/ utility.( man power also)

Preparing fuel consumption data and monthly maintenance Report.
Inspecting of incoming material & reporting quality checks in material receipt register.
Preparing of Equipment list, Preventive schedule & utility consumption and monthly performance review.
Managing Engineering calculations of Equipments and Project cost calculation.
Maintaining Validation of HVAC systems & Particle count
Attending Preventive maintenance of equipments like Reactors, Centrifuges, Pumps, FBD, Air Blower, Compactor, Multi-mill, Condenser, Air compressor, Deep freezer, Boiler, Hot Oil, 100 TR Compressor & Cooling Tower etc.
Maintaining Annual preventive Maintenance of Equipment as per Schedule.
Maintaining required spares inventory.
Preparing IQ, OQ, PQ of equipments and annual budget
Attending preventive maintenance of all AC in the plant
Responsible to take the complaints of different machine problems & to give immediate response to fix the problems in machines.
Checking of gear box personally in different machines & to analyze every gear.
Making proper decision of discarding the damage gears in machine & change the gears.
Responsible to take complaints of damage production.
In charge of Finishing Activities and responsible for the targeted Production.
Identifying the problems in Bright bar section as low productivity, high set up time, high rejection rate; and resolved it by applying the concepts of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
Completed B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (2003-2007) from Bharathiyar college of Engineering & Technology, Karaikkal, Pondicherry university. All 4 years got scholarship.
