• Provide coaching and mentoring for tradespersons in using the Electronic Tool (ET) for trouble shooting, calibrating and programming.
• Pioneered installation of the Product Link (PL 522) in all machines sold since 2010 which works like a black box of an aeroplane. It detects location, any fault codes on a machine and every activity which will have happened on the machine.

• Ensure standard safety procedures are followed by field service technicians during maintenance activities on sites to prevent any personal injury or equipment damage.

• Ensure that all work-related activities carried out during the field service are recorded in the field service report in order to help planning staff log the details of work done.

• Ensure that relevant tools and special tools required for carrying out maintenance activities are provided to field service technicians.

• Ensure that the department is adequately staffed to achieve objectives, and that technicians are aware of procedures for using new products and equipment.
