As a SAPID representative on Oil and Gas Well head Onshore Maintain potential Project.
• Review & understanding specifications, standards, Drawings of designer.
• Reviewing Internal and External protective coating system as per project specification and standards.
• Selecting and inspecting coating material as per project specification.
• Reviewing applicable Inspection Test Plan.
• Material receiving & storage inspection of abrasive and Painting material.
• Verification of all equipment conditions & Instrument calibration.
• Witness & verify the abrasive, paints, curing agent, thinner to be used, batch # and color are in accordance with manufacturer’s technical data sheet.
• Conducting Focus assessment randomly for all coating related activity’s such as (new activity, repeated violation, final inspection etc.)
• Inspection and monitoring of weather climatic conditions during blasting and coating application, i.e. ambient temperature, substrate temperature, dew point and relative humidity as per standard.
• Visual inspection and DFT of the dried/cured surfaces and mark the areas to repair which are showing any defects such as sagging, dry spray, holidays/pinholes. Etc.
• Reviewing and approving Coating Personnel.
• Attending RFI (witness and Hold Point Inspection) and routine site Surveillance.
Raising Log book entries (PN, GC AND SV)
Raising Non-conformance reports to contractor.
Attending weekly Contractor quality meetings and managing QMIS closeouts.
Reporting to the supervisor about the critical job and other inspection related activities.
Participate in the site internal and external quality audits
Review Painting system of Project and carry inspection as per ITP.

Responsibilities:-
Raise RFI & submitting daily inspection reports.
Preparing Method Statement and Inspection Test Plan.
Review Painting system of Project and carry inspection as per ITP.
Receiving Inspection of painting Materials.
Review and have a thorough understanding of specifications, scope of work, Method statements, Material approvals, Inspection and test plan, and Quality Control Plan.
Preparing Weekly/Monthly Coating/Painting Repair Status.
Inspection and calibration of tools and equipment.
Quality coordination with client for dispatch clearance.
Checking wet & dry film thickness & various standard adhesion tests.
Technical discussion with Paint manufacturer for day to day issues.
Verification of Technical data sheets compliance with the specification.
Possess thorough knowledge in various products, surface preparation, types of coatings activities, inspection instruments etc.
Monitor all quality related activities on the fireproofing project in accordance with UL 1709 standard.
Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards and client specifications.
Participate in the site internal and external quality audits
Control all non conformance reports and undertake remedial action
Verifying the Inspection of all the incoming materials with the related material approvals
Verify the inspection of the shelf life for all the materials and compliance to manufacturer recommendations
To keep updating all third party certifications and calibration and make sure that renewal is carried out on time.
Maintaining up to date library and proper distribution of Generic and specific documents (controlled / uncontrolled documents)
Participate in Project meetings and report on quality issues
Measuring the Wet Film Thickness (WFT) by using Comb Gauges and after complete drying, measuring the Dry Film Thickness (DFT) with Digital Thickness Elcometer.
Inspection of all the coats (primer, intermediate and final) as per coating system.
Conduct the dolly test for the adhesion of paint.
Preparing of daily inspection reports, final painting inspection reports.
Inspection of the blast cleaning operation i.e. compressor’s pressure,
Air-Pressure in the house by using needle gauge and physical condition of all the equipment to ensure safe work.
Verification of all batch certificate for paint material.
Maintaining the inspection reports up to date and submitting the project painting progress schedule to the client on weekly basis.
Ensuring all documents is as up to date as possible within electronic filing systems.
