Working as Senior Cost Control Engineer responsible for:
1-Prepare the project's budget based on Tender’s study.
2-Prepare a monthly cost report showing the possible savings or overruns for all project cost disciplines.
3- Allocate the project expenditures according to the specified project budget.
4-Highlight any major cost variances and advise the project management and other respective site staff for their timely corrective actions.
5- Check all project invoices, all other project cost documents and make sure to avoid misallocations.
6-Observe site operations, compare with budget, suggest comments and reflect the project performance in the forecast calculations.
7- Prepare each quarter project's cost plan, cash flow and billing plan.
8-Give a realistic cost-related feedback that should help when estimating similar projects.
Projects:
1-Construction of Al-Takamol Cement Plant 4, 500 tpd - Sudan (Turnkey project with contract price 200 million dollar)
2- Construction of 2 Cement Mills of the Second Clinker Production Line for Misr Beni-Suef Cement Plant.
Job Accountabilities:
1- Participate at preparing of the project budget.
2- Monitor the status and actual cost for the project resources comparing with project budget.
3- Prepare the monthly cost reports and analyze variance reasons if present.
4- Prepare the invoice and its related documents to be submitted to the client.
5- Develop, monitor and update the project schedule & resources.
6- Prepare weekly, monthly progress report (presenting project progress status, delay reasons if present and suggesting corrective actions).
7- Coordinate between the various departments of the project (Electrical, Civil, Fabrication and other departments).
Project with the World Bank & Ministry of Health for implementing 77 hospital units in Menofia governorate (Health Sector Reform Program)
Job Accountabilities:
1- Coordinating between consultant, design office and site for technical problems.
2- Supervision on the executed work.
3- Quantity Survey work.
4- Prepare the invoice and its related documents to be submitted to the client.
5- Prepare weekly, monthly progress report.
6- Review and approve Subcontractors invoices related to the executed progress.
