*Conducted numerous Management, Supervisory and Individual Effectiveness Training Sessions for senior, middle managers and supervisors as well as employees in Mobil Affiliates in Egypt, Sudan, Cyprus, Morocco, Tunisia, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Ghana.
*Devised a mechanism that supported management to objectively identify performance and competencies’ gaps that consequently led to the identification of training & development needs
Member of the Mobil South Africa Re-Entry team; responsibility included the development of a three-year Training strategy for this new affiliate within the functional, individual effectiveness, supervisory and management levels.
*In 1994, was appointment by Mobil Africa Regional management to conduct an “indoctrination scheme” for the newly acquired Mobil Kenya affiliate. This included a full scheme for potential assessment within the entire organization, setting up a 5 years plan for succession planning, organization climate assessments and training and development needs assessments
*Co-facilitated "Mobil Africa Millennium Session"; a session for the senior regional and affiliates managers (65 people) to establish the region's vision, mission & values. Conducted a similar session for Mobil Oil Egypt, Mobil Oil Morocco, Mobil Oil Tunisia and Mobil Oil Kenya
*Developed & Designed an organization climate process that identifies/monitors managerial behaviors which impact the overall climate of the organization; also developed a mechanism that supports individual corrective actions. Process implemented in many African Affiliates
*Designed and implemented 360o surveys to assess senior, middle managers as well as first line supervisors' competencies and management practices with supportive analysis to the impact of the individual results to the health and climate of the organization. Such process was implemented at both the Mobil Oil Egypt and the African Regional. This included an MS Excel program to automate the calculation and results definition process. Model widely implemented in the African Region
*Participated in a "Mobil Africa & Middle East Climate Survey", a team of experts from these regions to design an employee climate survey. My selection to this team was based on my extensive experience in this area and to provide guidance and appropriate implementation to the scheme
Conducted numerous Organization Assessment Sessions in Egypt, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Ethiopia and Kenya to assess various behavioral/organization aspects that support and hinder achievement of organization strategies in these affiliates
*Developed & implemented a 5 years Strategy to support the organization's staffing requirements derived from a massive reengineering/restructuring process, resulting into the total hire of 185 employees, fresh-graduates and experienced hires
*Conducted Train-the-Trainer sessions where I certified more than 100 managers to conduct a "Behavioral Event Interviews - BEI" to support the recruiting process in Egypt, Sudan, Tunis, Kenya, Ethiopia and South Africa.
Conducted a Recruitment Strategy for Mobil Oil South Africa, to support the reentry of Mobil in this country. This included an organization/staffing structure study, interviewing and selection of South African Recruiters.
