•Organize team work, priorities & targets
•Lead, train and direct a team of engineers to achieve projects’ target dates
•Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history
•Determine necessary actions required by the team, issue weekly targets and achievements report in line with the projects time schedule

•Studiy and handle procurement of the various projects' equipment OCI is handling
•Issue Request For Quotations to suppliers and subcontractors (R.F.Q.s)
•Study and review tender drawings, specifications and related documents
•Perform technical and financial analyses of all the offers received
•Negotiate with vendors to obtain optimum quality, cost and payment terms
•Discuss legal and shipping terms with suppliers concerning the intended Letter of Intent/purchase orders and contracts and discuss possible alternatives
•Prepare purchase orders, letter of Intents, and subcontracts
•Integrate and coordinate between different departments to achieve the job’s targets
Overall Preparation of RFQ’s and study project contract to assess project technical procurement scope, and follow on project schedule.
•Technical Evaluation: Asses the technical project documents against suppliers offers
•Budget Management in-terms of financial negotiation with potential suppliers worldwide, Set project saving targets against budget. Generate project savings and drive efficiency by selecting the best technical specifications with the most complying offers.
•Contract negotiation with suppliers
•Vendor qualification: visit and evaluate suppliers’ ability to perform the job in hand
•Vendor management :•Value adding through providing technical solutions
•Supplier selection; select the most optimum offer available
•Cash flow management against payment terms
•Support the project manager and liaising with other departments particularly finance, logistics and legal
•KPI’s quarterly reporting against target dates.
•Create “the Technical procurement department quarterly report” which is an initiative that shed light on the value added for savings generated by procurement,
•Adhere to the Corporate and department’s best practice processes and procedures
•Cascading down company strategies and setting objectives to subordinates to ensure team alignment.
•Managing the team to review progress benchmark against targets
•Regular follow and monitoring to the team performance via on-going performance dialogues, on the job coaching, exposures to empower team members.
•Ensure the Team Motivation via different activities, moral motivation, engagement using different techniques.
•Lead the Team appraisal/evaluation process, provide constructive feedback and ensue their development.
·Plan and schedule Egypt Air flights in order to minimize possible delays
·Operate on various softwares related to scheduling of flights as Fleet Watch, Sitatex, Osiris and Aviva
·Integrate and coordinate between different departments to achieve the job’s targets
