Operational Duties & Responsibilities:
Organizes, plans, schedules, and controls the field work.
Identify client's Business case and Strategic Brief and other core project requirements.
Ensure that the client’s Business Case and the Strategic Brief have been properly considered before the Initial Project Brief is developed
The Strategic Brief may require a review of a number of alternative designs & options. By asking the right questions and understanding the Client requirements, can properly define the scope for a project, and the preparation and briefing process can then begin.
Agree Schedule of services, design responsibility matrix and information exchanges and prepare project execution plan including technology and communication strategies and consideration of common standards to be used.
Develop project organization, roles of project participants; typical time planning.
Review and update maintenance, operational and handover strategies and risk assessments and project execution plan.
Monitor and advice project architect on different authority’s regulations/requirements.
Reviews all tender documents and bills of invoice.
Authorizes payment of Certificates and invoices to consultants and/or contractors.
Updates and authorizes any variance order forms.
Manages the project technically and contractually.
Issues necessary letters to client, consultant and contractors working on the project.
Replies to receive letters from all parties in accordance with Contract documents.
Advises and directs the client on the correct path on contractual and technical matters.
In charge of internal recruitment for project teams.
Interviews all potential external consultants/contractors short listed to form part of a project team.
Attends Management Committee meetings

Responsibilities:
•Development and implementation of Project specific quality management/ assurance plans in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements & contractual requirements.
•Organizational quality management system set up and certification processes including exposure to Integrated Management System.
•Monitoring the effectiveness of quality management system through audits/ surveillance and follow up on corrective/ preventive actions and programs.
•Development of Quality Assurance/ Control Procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Work Method Statements, QA/QC Forms and Inspection Checklists
•Weekly update procurement tracking sheet.
•Defining corrective actions and recovery plans.
•Preparation of various technical and management reports in accordance with quality management system requirements
•Regular site inspection to ensuring that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the project specifications, approved method statements and shop drawings.

•Responding to all subcontractor quires, concessions and provide the related packages subcontractors with all technical information.
•Reviewing concessions and deviation requests from Subcontractors and make appropriate recommendations to the Project Manager.
•Reviewing/Approving subcontractor submittals including shop drawings, material submittals and methods statements.
•Monitoring the work flow and ensure complete technical information available prior proceeding with works.

•Review the Approved for Construction drawings and clarify any discrepancies between the drawings.
•Co-ordinate among Structural, Architectural and MEP drawings.
•Co-ordinate between MEP subcontractor and Civil Work.
•Calculate the quantities for all items.
Make Payments for the Subcontractors.
•Make Payments Certificate for the Client.
•Review and comments Shop drawing submitted by the Subcontractors (Steel, formwork, false Ceiling, etc.)
•Preparation of Work Drawings and Details
•Co-ordinate of work with the subcontractors.

•Contact with suitable suppliers & subcontractors of the project according to the Job requirements
•Submitting the subcontractor with all details and inquires.
