Organizes, plans, schedules, and controls the field work.
Identify client's Business case and Strategic Brief and other core project requirements.
Ensure that the client’s Business Case and the Strategic Brief have been properly considered before the Initial Project Brief is developed
The Strategic Brief may require a review of a number of alternative designs & options. By asking the right questions and understanding the Client requirements, can properly define the scope for a project, and the preparation and briefing process can then begin.
Agree Schedule of services, design responsibility matrix and information exchanges and prepare project execution plan including technology and communication strategies and consideration of common standards to be used.
Develop project organization, roles of project participants; typical time planning.
Review and update maintenance, operational and handover strategies and risk assessments and project execution plan.
Monitor and advice project architect on different authority’s regulations/requirements.
Reviews all tender documents and bills of invoice.
Authorizes payment of Certificates and invoices to consultants and/or contractors.
Updates and authorizes any variance order forms.
Manages the project technically and contractually.
Issues necessary letters to client, consultant and contractors working on the project.
Replies to receive letters from all parties in accordance with Contract documents.
