1) I am a Construction Manager/ Client rep.(PMO) in a fast track, high-end F&B mall called ENTERTAINMENT HUB spreading over 10, 000m2 area(phase 1) which is set to break the world record for the largest outdoor F&B Mall.
2) Job includes managing and supervising the construction of 920 residential villas in ALLEGRIA compound with market value over $1 billion and 25 different contractors, designers and consultants like MARASEM/BIN LADEN, KHARAFI National and others.
3) Construction Manager for phases 6, 7, 8 and 9 of WESTOWN residences which include 20 apartment buildings, and 200 villas with BUA over 100, 000m2 Area.
As a client Rep. my job scope included;
Qualified competitive subcontractor bids prior to execution of contracts.
Carefully coordinated plans and specs using marketing programming standards.
Facilitated processing of RFI's, submittals and samples among the general contractor, the designer and the consultants.
Managed the rights of way, easement and dedication processes.
Educated general contractor personnel on the quality standards throughout the construction process.
Directed the general contractor on required mock-up preparation.
Managed a team of onsite general contractor, two designers, Consultants and three nominated sub-contractors for twelve months.
Obtained notices of completion and compliance certifications from all of the construction administration consultants.
Reviewed and investigated Proposed Change Order Requests (PCOR).
Stayed consistent with project schedules and plans for all FFE installations. Trained the community service manager on turnover procedures, quality standards and project-specific systems orientation.
Acted as the liaison between landscape architects and the general contractors.
Submitted all project closeout documents in accordance with the contract.
Assigned projects and tasks to employees based on their competencies and specialties.
Followed through with competent execution of project plans by providing proper tools and equipment to all
construction personnel. Performed construction site pre-inspections and coordinated post-construction audits.
Accurately provided status information on project progress to the project manager.
Efficiently recorded and rejected incorrect deliveries of material to site. Monitored the safety of all construction activities, making on-site personnel safety the top priority. Led and managed resolution of all issues during project construction and commissioning phases. Zone manager for multiple zones; Grand entrance, Concourse 1 and 2, High fashion, Fashion island and Fashion walk which represent over 30% of the main mall areas my scope of work included coordinating between
25 different sub. cons. to achieve project schedule and to hand over these areas to EMAAR.
